OBAMA IS A COMMUNITY ORGANIZER

Obama is a Community Organizer, not an executive, manager or even a mid-level decision maker.  The role of a community organizer is to bring people of like minds together and have them decide how and where something should take place.  Organizers “organize” the people who make the decisions; they have no executive power, need no administrative capability and generally rely on the “community” to manage any projects.

This should have been screamingly apparent to anybody paying attention to his Illinois Senate record,  where from 1997 to 2004, he voted ‘present’ 130 times.  This is one of the very few historical records on Obama that is presently available.   Other times he seemingly voting in concert with his party members regardless of the issue.  He showed no initiative to offer any commanding input.

According to one of his mentors, a political studies professor, Kent D. Redfield, “If you are worried about your next election, the present vote gives you political cover.  This is an option that does not exist in every state and reflects Illinois political culture.”

During the calendar year of 2008, as a U.S. Senator, Obama either voted along party lines or was sucking down our tax dollars while campaigning (auditioning for a new and different job) on all occasions with only one exception.  According to the Washington Post,  Obama also missed 84 votes out of 100 opportunities to make a contributing decision.

One decision that he might have made is the direction of the Justice Department to sue the State of Arizona to prevent enactment and enforcement of SB 1070.  This bill mirrors the federal immigration law but allows state and local law enforcement to accomplish the task that the federal authorities refuse to address.

Arizona, like many of the states right now, is suffering tremendous fiscal burden.  Savings estimates range from $600,000 to $750,000 per year in the state education system alone.  It would also allow the remaining English speaking students an  opportunity for a much better education.

Depending on the poll, how it is taken and by whom, between 63% and 70% of Americans are in favor of SB 1070 and believe it strengthens our country.  It is a step toward completing a universal solution to our invasion problem.  It is not expected or projected to be a solve-all.

For a state to arrest and detain law breakers on behalf of the federal government should be praised by this or any administration.  Instead, they are being sued for assisting with federal law enforcement.  This is a decision that Obama may have made himself.  He believes the stoppage of SB 1070 will advance his chances of passing a comprehensive immigration reform bill and increase the voting base for the Democrat party giving them more political power.

The following is an excerpt from my book, “Bizarro World, USA”.  I believe it is more applicable now than it was three years ago when it was written.  The table of Contents is a copy-and-paste from www.uscis.gov website.

Insanity – Doing the same thing over, and over again, and expecting different results.

Each September or October since the fall of 1951 Charles Shultz has run a comic strip with Lucy (and on rare occasion, Violet) holding a football for Charlie Brown to kick as if it’s the “kickoff” of the football season.  Every year, at the last minute, the ball is always ripped away and Charlie Brown ends up on his backside as he kicks only air.  There is a different excuse each year for pulling the ball away, but the result is always the same.  Charlie Brown ends up on his backside looking like a fool after falling for the same stunt once again.

This definition of insanity sounds to me like the perfect analogy for the U.S. immigration reform.  President Ronald Reagan signed into law the “Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986”.  Below is the Table of Contents for this extensive document.  I have only included the Table of Contents because including the entire Act is only a greater waste of our natural forests.  Read through it and highlight all the areas to which our government has adhered.

*Hint: you can use a dry highlighter.  Hell, you can leave the cap on.  Obviously there has been no enforcement of this act as it reads until very recently and even then only in limited geographic areas.  In particular, I like PART.B Sec. 115

After skimming the titles and sections, can you believe that our government is again trying to fool us into accepting that a new Immigration Reform Act will make a difference?  It didn’t work in 1986 and it didn’t work ten years later with the “Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996”.

Now it’s time for a Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act because Obama says the problem cannot be solved “only with fences and border patrols”.  He refuses to see this as a start to remedying the current problem.  He refuses to acknowledge that the past attempts to reform our immigration system would have worked had they been followed and enforced.

The only way he knows to correct an ill is to completely break any system in place and recreate it with a completely antagonistic approach.  In his mind: There is no correcting or replacing broken components of a problem for him; there is only destroy, deconstruct and trash the existing model replacing it with whatever is the polar opposite.

He is more than willing to throw the baby out with the bath water, then fill the tub with sewer water, buy a clean dog and bathe it in the tub, calling it even…But, that’s his decision.
