NO CONCERN HERE

Obama is nothing more than Joe Biden with a tan when it comes to off the Tele gaffes.  When speaking about our men and women in uniform, he makes Dan Quayle look like a Master Mensa presenter.

This man, the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, continues to show lack of respect to the point of contempt for the heroes serving our country.  He has never served his country in uniform (but then too few of our politicians ever have) and appears to have no interest in the functioning, performance or heroics of our servicemen and servicewomen.  The best he can do is use them as self aggrandizing campaign background when he credits himself for their work.

Back in Feb. 2010, the “Smartest President Ever” mispronounced the Navy title of Corpsman as corpse man (like dead man).  A Corpsman helps keep the battle wounded alive until transport to a field hospital can be arranged.  Not just once, but several times did he mangle the rate.

Last year, when presenting the Medal of Honor to Army Staff Sergeant Salvatore Giunta, he referred to SSgt.Giunta as Jared Monti.  (He was giving the man the highest honor possible for valor and he couldn’t even bother himself to know the hero’s name!)  In 2009, President Obama presented a Medal of Honor to the parents of Jared Monti.  Army Sergeant First Class Monti died in Afghanistan while rescuing a wounded soldier.

Recently, he referred to Admiral William McRaven, Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command as General McRaven.  McRaven is not only an Admiral, he is currently the top ranking SEAL; he is the top dog of the most elite and respected Special Forces units.  The rank of General does not exist in the Navy!

WAKE UP PEOPLE!  We must put someone into the office who actually cares about our country’s sovereignty, not just how much money he can raise from the rich and powerful he claims owe more to their country. We need a leader who respects the men and women who keep us safe.
