Let’s forget all about Fast and Furious and amnesty and entitlements for people who have stolen their way into the country.  We need not be attentive to the AP or FoxNews reporters individually and collectively spied upon or trampling on freedom of the press.  Benghazi?  Not a problem, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”  Let us not be bothered by whatever still lurks under the desk in the oval office.  This time it’s probably not Monica.

Oh hell, let’s just consign to oblivion everything in the founding documents and everything we’ve known about liberty in the past.  It’s all gone.  We have ignorantly relinquished, through our personal votes, everything the founders of this nation gave us as citizens.  Not everyone chose to shoot themselves in the foot, but now we all walk with a limp because of those who did.

Can we now agree there is little left of the America in which we’ve been proud?  We have survived through good periods and tough times, Republican and Democrat administrations.  It is time to revert to what made this nation the global leader in the first place and we must no longer shrink from being a strong and free society.  It is time for “We the People” to regain control of the behemoth government currently usurping our wealth, freedoms and opportunities.  Our government is not only affecting the well-being of our nation, it is destroying the morale of almost every individual within, even those who voted for the change.

If you think, even for one second, that a government can gather every bit of information about your life for use against you when needed and not be bothered by that you are not American.  You are not one who enjoys rights, freedoms, and self created opportunities.  You are one who wants someone else to think and do for you as you muddle your way through life as an ignorant, uncaring bondservant.  You willingly forfeit all prerogatives to protest for equality or humanity.

Click on the link below for more on how we have carelessly relinquished our rights and freedoms and put our personal lives in jeopardy through our votes.

If you think that the current or any future governments getting away with the illegal and frightening moves we’ve seen in the past four and a half years won’t affect you, you must be in the throes of death as you read this or as you hear it read to you.  If the government can specifically target individuals and make their lives miserable just because the individuals do not share, completely, the political views and goals of the nation’s leader, we are all subjects of tyranny.

Granted, the practice started long, long ago.  Underhanded government over reach occupied center stage during the Watergate trials exactly forty years ago this month.  The American public on both sides of the political aisle were outraged at what executive power could produce.  It cost Richard M. Nixon the presidency and it was nothing, by comparison, to what is happening right now.  What is happening is right out of the Cloward/Piven playbook – overwhelm the system, destroy the nation.

When the Department of Homeland Security contracts for huge blocks of ammunition deliberately making it difficult, at best, for citizens and even some local police departments to obtain a practical few rounds, it should alarm “We the People”.  However, if you have willingly forfeited all prerogatives through compliance or complacency, you deserve what you get.

Today, as currently scheduled, Lois Lerner the head of the IRS tax-exempt division intends to invoke the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Affairs.  The Fifth Amendment provides that U.S. citizens may not be compelled to incriminate or testify against themselves while under oath.

By invoking the Fifth Amendment, Ms. Lerner is not only protecting herself, she is shielding her superiors from indictment.  This is a very convenient use of the Constitution when there is a political or personal benefit, by those whose goal it is to destroy that very document.

By today’s standard, Nixon did virtually nothing. The poor guy got the proverbial shaft.

It floors me that the President of the United States of America, the ruler with the largest cabinet and government the country has ever known, gets his information from the daily newspapers. It has been his excuse with everything from the New Black Panthers at the polls to the Cambridge police / Professor Gates (the police acted stupidly) to Fast and Furious to the IRS scandal and now to the Justice Department plucking phone records from the AP.

Why couldn’t the Justice Department start with the records of government employees using government phones and email to find out who may have leaked information? Why did they have to start with private citizens?

“Just like you, I got the information this morning from the Washington Post.” I guess he has to see what the papers are saying to gin up the proper spin for Carney. Jay, after all, has to point the finger in a direction that will lead truth seekers on a wild goose chase.

His cabinet admits to informing him about Benghazi. But he was tired from a long day and had to rest up before taking the long flight to Vegas to dazzle donors and beg for more money to defeat Mitt Romney. Perhaps that one time he was informed of the disaster created by his underlings before he read about it in the morning paper.

At any rate, we do know there was contact with the President on that one. That was the time some obscure, unseen YouTube video caused all the problems that left four Americans dead. He couldn’t have had all the information about that situation.

The Justice Department secretly pulled phone records from the AP because reporters may have information that is important to the country. Do you suppose Eric did this to keep the President ignorant, to keep the news out of the papers that he might read in the morning?

No, that’s not the case because Eric Holder didn’t know anything about the phone records until that story broke. It was his immediate subordinate, Deputy Attorney General James Cole, whose wardrobe is adorned with tire tread imprints from the proverbial bus this time.

The leader of the nation and his entire squadron of cabinet members and department heads know nothing about what happens within the government. They have to read about it all in the newspapers or watch it brought forth on FOXNews. Once they see it on FOXNews, they can discredit it as just more racism from the Right Wing Conspiracy.

I have been assured by the President himself, however, late yesterday afternoon that he will get to the bottom of it all, and justice will be done, those responsible will be held accountable. Of course, in Obamaspeak, that means someone will retire with full benefits, but not receive this year’s bonus.

With all the hoopla about the IRS delaying opportunities for conservative groups to be certified tax exempt, allowing them to accept donations and funding, something seems forgotten.

I know that Democrats, in large, are defending the IRS.  They say that, once again, any investigative committees would be partisan and a great Right Wing Conspiracy.  They, including President Obama, say that the IRS was not selective in their scrutiny, in spite of the fact that the IRS has already admitted it and apologized.

However, I have not heard a single word about how the harassment kept Tea Party groups and others from raising money to defeat the Liar-in-Chief last year.  Not a word has been yet spoken about that.

Also obviously silent, is Organizing for America.  They are not complaining about any undo holdup or requests for burdensome paperwork due in 15 days like conservative groups.  There have been no accusations of lengthy delays before receiving multi-page requests for unnecessary or unwarranted information.  To date, no mandates for donor list, contributor list, volunteer names, etc. for them.  And, unlike conservative groups, some of which still await NPO status after 2+ years, OFA was granted their tax waiver within 90 days.  Could that be because it’s Obama’s baby?

I predict that he will be the board member with the strongest and loudest voice for OFA when he terms out at his present do-nothing but vacation and party occupation.  I say board member because it will make it easier to continue deflecting responsibility and accountability away from himself.  As Executive Director, he would have to take all his loyal devotees from the government in order to survive.  He needs to keep as many of them as possible in place.  It will be much easier for him to sit in the wings, perhaps as Chairman of the Board, and have his strings are pulled as they are now, conveying the wishes of his hard-core, one world government handlers.  When it all crumbles, the Executive Director is fired, replaced and the shenanigans continue.

At any rate, the man who wants to tax everybody and everything got his tax waiver approved in short order and without hardship.  But there was no partisanship!

During a presidential campaign, Barack Obama promised to run the most transparent White House in history—disclosing donations, shunning lobbyists, and broadcasting important meetings on C-SPAN.  In his inaugural address, he expanded the definition of transparency as quoted below.

“Government should be transparent.  Transparency promotes accountability and provides information for citizens about what their Government is doing.  Information maintained by the Federal Government is a national asset. My Administration will take appropriate action, consistent with law and policy, to disclose information rapidly in forms that the public can readily find and use. Executive departments and agencies should harness new technologies to put information about their operations and decisions online and readily available to the public. Executive departments and agencies should also solicit public feedback to identify information of greatest use to the public.”

By dictionary definition

Transparent – adjective:

     1.   easily seen through, recognized, or detected

     2.   manifest; obvious

Transparency – noun:

     1.  the quality or state of being transparent.

We know that definitions change over the years as usage is abused or misuse becomes common.  When that occurs, customarily, dictionaries add new colloquial or “street” definitions to their entries.  I believe it is time to modify the dictionary definitions, since the President of the United States has redefined them, to include the following.

Transparent – verb:

1.   to lie, obfuscate, confuse, cloud, or muddle

  1.  purposefully and intentionally misdirect, misguide, mislead
  2.  to be secretive, opaque
  3.  tacitly stall

Perhaps I should contact Encyclopedia Britannica, the current owners of Merriam-Webster, Inc. to suggest our president’s new definition.

Here we go again.  Benghazi has key players in the White House scrambling under the rugs.  They want to make the whole debacle go away quietly.  Democrats in both the White House and on the investigative committee continue accusing Republicans of politicizing the failure to protect Americans abroad.  Almost everybody on the left, whether they do or do not care for their compatriots’ lives, willingly protect the very people they should condemn.  The proverbial buck stops with the highest ranking office assistant who can be reassigned to a lateral position with a mouth-shutting pay raise.

“What difference, at this point, does it make?”  The words and gestures of Hillary Clinton, in January of this year, during her recalcitrant participation in the investigation have become so famous that they can even be seen on ABC.  They’re defended, but none-the-less they are aired.  The administration managed to hide and deflect for four months, after which Benghazi was supposed to be “old news” and unworthy of scrutiny.

It is all a pattern of politics that is particularly well played by this administration. “Get this crap off of me.  Come here and change shirts with me, then go home and burn this shirt.  You can take the rest of the day off.  Here are a couple of tickets to the ball game tonight.  And remember, you never even saw me today.”

So to cause the ignorant masses to turn their collective heads, we now have the IRS/conservative NPO scandal.  How convenient!  In spite it having been known for over two years, it is now news and the media is willing to run with it.  The diversion, saved for just such an occasion is now put to use.  They’ve taken a bad situation and exploited it to take the attention away from a worse situation.  The media gives the second scandal all the attention and soon the lives of four Americans, flagrant lies, and cover-up fall to the wayside.

Again, for those who have not yet heard it, I use the example of the school yard bully saying, “Hey, look over there”.  There’s nothing to see, but when you turn back both the bully and the triple chocolate brownie mom made are gone.

So, which clerk will find them self inspecting the bus undercarriage now?  It started with some doofer in Cleveland who somehow had access to records from Tea Party and other Patriot groups across the nation.  That didn’t work out well and now the fingers begin pointing up the agency food chain.

Remember the DHS directive paper that lumped returning veterans, pro second amendment, anti abortion, anti illegal immigration, or pro smaller government (or more than one or all of the above)  with white supremacists and domestic terrorists.  Virtually anybody who might disagree with the socialist leaning policies of this administration is the enemy.  Not so much Islamic extremists, just national patriots should be watched closely.

How many of us will accept and excuse this faux pas blamed on some low-level operative of the most powerful asset the government has against the people?  How many people actually heard about or paid any attention to the testimony given last Wednesday?  How many loyal Democrats even care a whit about anything other than their SNAP card and Obamaphone?
