Many times over in this blog and elsewhere, I have written that Social Security began as a fraud fraught with the foreseeable consequence of ultimate failure. Nevertheless, it sounded good to the ignorant masses and sucked in a generation seeking retirement stability.

Franklin D. Roosevelt led socialists, posturing as “progressives” to promote the program. The term socialist elicited an unwelcome response from the majority of American patriots, thus the term progressives came to be. Cloaking themselves as progressives gave socialists an ability to prompt a majority to accept a program rife with deceitful dependency.

With an average family size of 5.51, or 3.1 children produced by each couple (census figures 1900), the program looked good on the surface. Each child working productively would contribute to the retirement of the preceding generation in perpetuity. The flaw-the 3.1 child figure was down by .4 in the 35 years since the census of 1900 and over 3.9 from the 1800 tabulation. Family size began shrinking with urbanization and the industrial age vs. rural living and farming. The indicative trend actually encouraged knowledgeable socialists.

Twenty years later, in 1955, the average household size had dropped to 3.92 and Social Security, as originally proposed, was obviously no longer sustainable. By that time, however, the program was a political hot potato and no politician desiring re-election wanted to touch it. Doomed for failure, it became the problem of the next congress, then the next and the next.

By 2010, the average household size shrunk to 2.61 with many of the working household members supporting an elder parent, not a potentially productive offspring.

We now face another socialist program of like ilk. Obamacare, the Social Security of the 21st century has a similar ultimate fate projection. Sold as the bread slicer of the future, the salesmen fail to share that all the bread is now riddled with dirt and weevils.

Our elected president, a student and proponent of Karl Marx, along with radical progressives in congress, forced upon the American public a program that is failing before full implementation. Obamacare, at triple the original budget, is causing doctors to leave the field of medicine or, at best, refusing to accept Medicare and PPACA patients. The very program professed to ensure health coverage for the most needy makes care more difficult and costly for them.

Most unfortunate is that we now have another under funded feel good program making what was once the greatest nation of the world just another Greece-like failure. Unlike the European countries, there’s no coalition of countries from which to beg.

We’re the primary funding source of the U.N. Perhaps they’ll bail us out. Yeah, that’s the ticket. All we have to do is borrow more money from some of our adversaries, give the money to the U.N. and ask the world for forgiveness. Surely, the dictators and radical Islamic fundamentalists of the U. N. will respectfully reward President Obama. They’ll bolster the U.S. Constitution and aid in the restoration of our Democratic Republic. Letting more foreigners vote in our sovereign elections will also help.

Welcome, again, to the scary amusement park known as Bizarro World, USA. Hold on firmly to the safety rail, the ride only gets rougher from here.

How simple this administration must think our minds.  Benghazi, NSA, IRS, EPA and GSA, DOJ, immigration, Obamacare and Egyptian Brotherhood funding scandals and legislative debates have all but disappeared from the news.  The conspicuously missing investigations may continue quietly, but appear to be on terminal hold.  No Musak calmingly entertains you during the wait for justice.  Even Edward Snowden is background noise at this point because he, too, is trouble for this administration.

Anthony Weiner’s wiener shots seem to be the hot topic for today.  Can the people of New York trust him to run the city if his own wife can’t trust him to responsibly run his personal life?

News and discussion continues about the acquittal of George Zimmerman and the protests against his trial.  How he either got away with murder or had every right to defend himself with deadly force is the lead direction.  That will change too when the rest of America is tired of hearing the same back and forth about it.  Meanwhile, Washington D.C. gets little attention.  That’s exactly the way they want it.

It’s no wonder the White House is constantly attacking Rush Limbaugh, FoxNews, Breitbart and other conservative outlets.  They relay information gained from investigative journalists, not the controlled propaganda championed by the main stream media.  It’s easier to attack conservatives and call them names than it is to answer their questions.  After all, they just gin up phony scandals.  If it weren’t for alternative outlets, “We the People” would be completely in the dark regarding governmental affairs.

It’s just another White House/media misdirect, folks.  If you’re stupid enough to let it take your interest off the ball, you’re going to strike out again.  Right now Eric Holder continues to intimate that there may be a civil rights case brought forth against Zimmerman.  Once interest on that front wanes, there will be another “human interest” story surface to keep you from thinking about how this administration is trampling the Constitution.

Yes, it’s all about overstepping the bounds of the office of the President.  It started, if you recall, all the way back in 2009 with the czar program. Overseeing the give-away and proper mismanagement of stimulus money started shortly after the presidential inauguration.  Your tax dollars paid for the firing of experienced auto executives and placing Obama big money donors in their positions.  Steven Rattner became the “car czar”.  With Rattner in place, the UAW received tax payer funds as reward for their Obama campaign support.  It allowed the union to belay the strangle hold on Chrysler and GM, allowing the companies to use the funds in their coffers to produce automobiles.  Bales of the money went into developing the Chevy Volt.  How many dozens of those incendiaries are still on the street at a loss of $20,000 +/- each?  Only a few hundred were even sold.

Appointing czars, Directors and Cabinet Secretaries without congressional approval is the way of this administration.  Building bureaucracies and writing excessive regulations to stifle the job market and destroy businesses are the most useful tools of Obama’s arsenal.  Delay, divert, misdirect, obfuscate and move on when no one is looking are all parts of the dictatorial assemblage that is now Washington D.C.  Six pm on Friday is the ideal time to release Executive Orders, regulations, and other edicts of compliance because no one is paying attention and probably won’t until Monday.  By then it’s old news and, “What difference, at this point, does it make”?

“When Trayvon Martin was first shot, I said that this could have been my son.  And another way of saying that is Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago.”

“There are very few African American men in this country who haven’t had the experience of being followed when they were shopping in a department store.  That includes me,” Obama continued.  “There are very few African American men who haven’t had the experience of walking across the street and hearing the locks click on the doors of cars.  That happens to me — at least before I was a senator.  There are very few African Americans who haven’t had the experience of getting on an elevator and a woman clutching her purse nervously and holding her breath until she had a chance to get off.  That happens often.” – President Obama

Allen West hammers back at Obama’s race baiting remarks from last Friday’s “poor Trayvon” presser.

“I am a black male who grew up in the inner city of Atlanta and no one ever followed me in a mall.  I don’t recall any doors clicking when I crossed the street.  And I never had anyone clutching their handbag when I got on an elevator.  I guess having two awesome parents who taught me  to be a respectful young man paid dividends.” – Allen West

I guess if you’re a dope smoking wanna be gangsta, as Obama was in his youth, you live a different norm.  But you can still blame others for their reactions.

By the way, I have been curious about the photos of Trayvon in the light gray hoodie.  He looks so cute.  Why, he could be the president’s son!  The video from the convenience store shows him in a black hoodie and shows that he was quite a large man.  Why the cutsie, cutsie portrayal in the no bias media?

Currently, our public schools fail in basic education.  They do a stellar job of socially engineering and politically indoctrinating our kids, but they fail to educate and prepare them for productive lives.

The same people who refuse school vouchers and deny home schooling are trying to force a higher minimum wage.  Young adults leave high school with insufficient knowledge of math, English and academics in general, personal responsibility, work ethic or the benefits of self-reliance.  A “living wage” for doing an unskilled menial and repetitive task is the only way for the under educated to survive.

Upon graduation, however, they do know how to cry foul and blame others for their failures.  They cannot compete, yet demand unearned respect and rapid advancement.  For twelve or thirteen years, they receive passing grades for doing substandard work resulting from little effort. Inadequate is sufficient.

Of course, higher wages mean finished products cost more necessitating a higher wage to accommodate the new cost of living.  If progressives continue to control the collection and distribution of taxes, knowledge and education may not be necessary in tomorrow’s world.  Everybody, except for the ruling class, will be equal and trudge through life accepting government subsidies.

Progressives now want to begin the indoctrination process as soon as infants are potty trained. They will even take over that process if it will speed their ultimately dictatorial agenda of a One World Government. To achieve that goal, they must first have complete control of their subjects’ minds.

Please take the time to watch the first three minutes of the linked video.   It illustrates how marketing (for food products) trains the compliant minds of preteen children to unquestionably accept and adjust to directed presentation.  This is the same method used by liberal teachers in our schools today.

Two particularly pertinent statements caused alarm when I watched this.  They are, “Young children cannot comprehend how advertising is manipulating them”, and “Children cannot be expected to exercise critical thinking or personal responsibility about food choice until they are quite a bit older.  The exact age is a matter of some research debate, but eight-year-olds certainly fall below it.”

Are you still sure that public education is the proper way for your children, grandchildren and future generations?  Perhaps if we just pour more money into the public school system…?

Democrat is Democrat, weird is weird and crazy is crazy.  I recognize the repeated redundant redundancy, but nothing else can be said about the latest insanity.  Since long before the Reagan amnesty plan of 1986, we have not secured our southern border to defend the desert fauna and flora or the sovereignty of our nation, but we should protect the junk our astronauts left behind by declaring a national park on the moon?

Perhaps it’s just an opportunity to charge a use fee (tax).  Maybe it’s just the insanity preceding registration in that particular political party.  Whichever, two Dumbocrat representatives, Donna Edwards (D-Md.) and Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Tx,), spent their time using their combined 97 I.Q. to arrive at the Apollo Lunar Landing Legacy Act, H.R. 2617 which they introduced yesterday, July 8, 2013.

The legislation establishes the park no later than one year after the bill passes. Jointly overseeing the park are the Department of the Interior and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).  (Umm, wouldn’t that be the Department of the Exterior? Or, perhaps a new bureaucracy, say the Intergalactic Parks and Recreation Agency?)

Lunacy knows no bounds! Besides, the cost is estimated at a mere $18.1-$18.9 billion borrowed from our cyber and military adversaries. Why not?
