PUBLIC EDUCATION OR GLOBALIST INCUBATION CENTERS

January 31, 2017

Over the last few decades, the state-run indoctrination centers have seemingly lost all focus on education. Instead, they concentrate on social issues.  Gender identity, climate variance and diversity are prominent.

However, as core academic scores drop the government continues to take over your rights and usurps the authority for raising your children. Oh, you still remain the responsible party when something goes wrong. They just want complete jurisdiction over instilling a radical leftist viewpoint into the malleable minds of your offspring. They foster incubation facilities for social collectivism that demand governmental authority over child raising. <link>

Thanks to progressives pushing their communal association plans, kids of the U.S. today have less chance of success than ever before. The American Dream is now ascension to mediocrity.

According to a 2012 National Center for Education Statistics report (the most recent found), math scores for the U.S. dropped from 25th to 31st among developed nations since 2009; from 20th to 24th in science; and from 11th to 21st in reading. We now rank #1 in gender diversity education, though.

Even Portugal (a socialist dominated political and economic system), expects more parental participation. Recently, one school principal posted the following in the hallways.

Dear parents

  • We would like to remind you that magic words such as hello, please, you’re welcome, I’m sorry, and thank you, all begin to be learned at home.
  • It’s also at home that children learn to be honest, to be on time, diligent, show friends their sympathy, as well as show utmost respect for their elders and all teachers.
  • Home is where they learn to be clean, not talk with their mouths full, and how/where to properly dispose of garbage.
  • Home is also where they learn to be organized, to take good care of their belongings, and that it’s not ok to touch others.
  • Here at school, on the other hand, we teach language, math, history, geography, physics, sciences, and physical education. We only reinforce the education that children receive at home from their parents.

I guess they’ve learned that some things are better handled at home.  Doing away with the over-lording and abysmal failure known as the Department of Education is a first step.  Returning supervision of education to local districts with direct input from parents might be a second step.  Competition in the form of school choice could also help those students who want to learn.

As with so many things, decentralizing massive bureaucratic authorities in favor of localized responsibility and control is the proper direction to making America great again.

THE PROTESTS AGAINST DEMOCRACY IN THE NAME OF TOLERANCE

January 26, 2017

Anyone seeing the few newscasts or many YouTube videos of the “demonstrations” in D.C. over the past weekend has to feel bad for the tolerant left. They are so out of touch with reality, so uncaring and abusive that they don’t care what or whom they destroy.

In particular there is one video of men in black destroying the windows of a Starbucks. One CNN video showed customers inside, ducking behind tables and fearing for their lives not knowing what might happen next. That makes the demonstration a terrorist act in almost anybody’s book.

The thing I find particularly funny is that Starbucks President and CEO, Kevin Johnson and Chairman of the Board, Howard Schultz are a couple of the most democracy defiant progressive liberals and Trump haters on the planet. Starbucks is, and has been, the socialist icon and hangout of the past three decades.

These idiots were simply destroying property and they didn’t care if it was repressive government property or that of like minded individuals. It was opportunity not unlike Ferguson or Baltimore or anywhere that progressives can gather to cause mayhem and destruction.

According to some accounts they were paid by Soros step down organizations to cause disruption, chaos and engage police. Starbucks is one of the many progressive owned enterprises that donates large sums of what could be employee profit sharing to the radical Soros groups.

The “demonstrators” just act with Twitter fed mob mentality. They are angered by their own lives. They will probably be the politicians or professors of the future. I seriously doubt that there is a private sector income earner in the group. In fact, I question if there are any income earners in the group at all, even those currently drawing a wage from the public sector.

All this took place during and shortly after the inauguration. There was no time to see if any of the policies of the new administration would be to their liking or benefit. It was all caused because the whining vagina did not receive her crown. It was scripted and directed by the same people who drove the government for the past eight years.  At least that won’t happen any more.

SUNDAY NEWS PROGRAMS…THE FEAR AND THE SPIN

January 25, 2017

I spent Sunday morning triple flipping. That’s what I call it when I take in the political lies and spin from three TV stations at once. I tend to change channels between CNN, FOX and one other. Often the third is MSNBC but depending on the time, it could be a broadcast station. This week it was Media Buzz on FOX, Meet the Press on NBC and Reliable Sources on CNN.

This week, the three stations listed above had quite a spread of topics. I was particularly interested in the discussion on CNN. Thus, I spent the majority of my morning viewing time with them. All the while triple flipping, however. They (CNN) spent the better part of the program (I estimate about 24 min. air time) talking about nothing other than honesty in the Trump administration. The panel discussed how they expected information would be shared with the press and the American people and how reliable it might be.

The gentle diatribe seemed to center around how they would interpret and interpolate what came to them in briefings and what they were able to glean otherwise through their (chuckle, chuckle) reliable sources. It sounded much like they were afraid that if they tried to spin too fast, too hard or too much they might actually but unwittingly and undesirably present the truth. Whoa, careful, careful!

Of the entire discussion, I heard not one utterance regarding the lack of credibility of information they received over the past 8 years. Not one word. Nobody brought up Fast and Furious. No one offered dialogue about “If you like your doctor…” or “…no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase”. My hearing deficit may have precluded me from hearing anything about the myriad scandals (within the “scandal free”administration), coverups and lies about them that these stations, and almost all others, ignored. But that might be because President Obama said in 2013,“This is the most transparent administration in history”.

Politiks is politiks! There will always be things happening within our government that may never be known until we’re all long gone. There will be leaks from and about virtually every event by almost every department. Some of those leaks will be for real and some will be purposefully misleading. It’s a matter of how we receive, and personally analyze what we receive, that can leave us with knowledge. Or, we can rely on the opinions of the powder-faced journalists, reporters and pundits to guide us through life.

For myself, I choose to see what happens. Prejudging what may occur and trying to alter the perception of what actually does occur to meet my preconceived allusions is too difficult.

The coming four years is unquestionably going to be different from the past eight years. It well might be a disaster, but I’m willing to see and judge it for myself…on what happens, not what is said about what might happen. If it all goes to pot, there’s always impeachment and removal from office. With Republicans in charge of the congress, and not afraid to be labeled racists, it could happen. President Trump could also make America great again.

I’ll be attentive and not at all hesitant to be critical of anything I see, read or hear coming from Washington, D.C.

HOW TO CREATE CHAOS AND DISTRUST IN THE MIDST OF A “PEACEFUL TRANSITION OF POWER”

I have a tendency not to believe much of what I read and question a lot of what I see. My hearing is shot so, for clarity, I often ask for what I think I hear to be repeated – occasionally multiple times. It may disturb a lot of people who want to accept whatever agrees with their foregone conclusion in any situation, but it keeps me sane. Well, as sane as I’m going to be at this point.

For years I have been doing much the same as you see above, searching and researching; not trusting but attempting to verify. Especially when I encounter something that seems too real or too good to be true I tend to question until I am satisfied. Yesterday, however, presented a real challenge to my well being. I really cannot accept any of the above stories with certainty. While there is a confluence of information within them they all read very differently. I guess what might be inferred from any and all is that Maj. Gen. Errol R. Schwartz will be in command of the D.C. National Guard when the inauguration begins, but not at the end.

“Whose choice is it; the General’s, the Army’s, Obama’s or Trump’s to leave his post in the middle of a peaceful transition of power”? The answer remains unclear.  With everything Obama has done in the past 2-3 weeks to make the first hundred days as chaotic as possible, I’m hedging that it is his choice. But then again, Trump wants to get rid of all the Obama acolytes. The General says he submitted his resignation some time ago and agrees that the timing of the acceptance is most definitely odd. So, is the day and time his choice?

THE ACA CREATED ANOTHER LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT DEPENDENCY

January 15, 2017

There are numerous stories with alarming concern about the possible repeal and replacement of Obamacare. As it is presently, it is a very expensive program that helps very few people but makes some feel it is needed for their own well being. “Free” is addicting, no matter what the cost.

First of all is the incantation that twenty million people will suffer if the failing program does not continue as it is. This is as absurd as “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”. From the beginning, the twenty million people figure is pure fiction, aka fake news in current terms. Its falsehood is easily found in the fact that only fourteen million people even signed up for the program. The fantasy continues with, of the true fourteen million, about twelve million (85%) were eligible for Medicaid or Medicare and were thus covered by working, earning taxpayers through inefficient government run programs anyway. The ACA was just a switch in names that reimbursed doctors for services. So, for billions of dollars per year, some two million people receive actual, not perceived, benefit.

Second is the fallacy about liking and keeping your doctor. Thousands of doctors and many hospitals refused to participate in the wealth redistribution (money laundering) farce from the beginning. The program forced others into bankruptcy and they shuttered their doors. If you were among the lucky ones who liked your doctor, and he or she did cooperate with the extremely restrictive rules set forth by the ACA, chances are great that your wait times for an appointment became exaggerated almost overnight.

Many people report that prior to the inception of the ACA it was possible to get an appointment to see their doctor within a week. Today that time might be as long as six weeks with an average of three weeks. Then, after spending extended time in the waiting room, they find they are hustled through the intake process before a physician assistant (PA) arrives to treat the now severely infected wound or takes some notes and scribbles a prescription to be filled. If necessary, a subsequent appointment is made two weeks hence with the doctor they liked and kept.

As expressed so frequently over the past 7 years, Obamacare offers little in the realm of medical care.  It is a tax mandated under the guise of health insurance.  It even falls under the authority of the IRS (a tax collection agency), not HHS (the government health agency).

Third comes the fact that many people are not going to the doctor when necessary because the deductible or co-pay is excessive and often not at all affordable after paying $400+ per month for the insurance premium. Thus, the people receiving the most benefit from the program are those who would otherwise have had fully paid government coverage through Medicare or Medicaid.

So, all in all, the panic being created by the possibility that Obamacare might be dismantled and replaced by something different, possibly even better, is vaulting off of anecdotal stories; “I wouldn’t have survived MRSA if it weren’t for Obamacare”. In fact, the insidious infection might have been treated and controlled much more rapidly, more completely and even less expensively if the person suffering with the devastating disease simply went to the ER. Even those with insurance now often wait too long while fretting payment of their deductible.

They tell us that Obamacare is the answer. It was implemented in the dark of night by the Marxists and socialists of our elected body. From the beginning it had little to do with maintaining health or longevity of the American public.  We were even told, “But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it”, by the very people pushing it despite none of them even knowing what they were sponsoring.

People are now under the belief and assurance (thanks to the propaganda proclaimed by the administration and promoted by their extended media arm) that the ACA is a program commoners cannot do without. They’re hooked.  They’re addicted. They’re afraid methadone will not continue the high to which they’ve become accustomed.

Why was change such a good thing just eight years ago and not now?
