In the very true and forthright words of Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos: “Every American family needs to open The Nation’s Report Card this year and think about what it means for their child and for our country’s future. The results are, frankly, devastating.” She continued, “This country is in a student achievement crisis, and over the past decade it has continued to worsen, especially for our most vulnerable students,” she added.

The “game changing” Obama legacy initiative known as Common Core that was introduced by former Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan, has failed every child subjected to the system. A study by NEAP (National Assessment of Educational Progress) over a 7 year period (2010-2017) showed that Common Core teaching methods produced significant negative effects on 4th graders’ reading achievement and 8th graders’ math achievement. The study also showed that the negative effects tend to increase over time!

While academic scores continue to drop precipitously, the kids in K-12 public schools are learning the benefits of transgenderism, oral and anal sex for pregnancy prevention, gender confusion is one staple on which you can rely, protesting elevates celebrity, victimhood is the road to success and blaming white men for your failure is better than working to improve your station in life. They are not learning math, science, reading, English, world history, geography and civics to an extent that will benefit them in their lives beyond high school.

While some people want to throw more money at our failing public schools to continue the practice of indoctrinating over educating, others are seeking choice for students and caring parents. Granted, charter schools and home schooling take money from the public schools coffer, but they do teach the tools that help our youth become productive members of our society. Students of alternate schools must actually learn, accomplish and verify their knowledge rather than simply attend classes to pass and graduate.

Both traditional public schools and charter schools are funded through state and local tax dollars and enjoy tax exempt donations. The traditional schools also receive funding from the federal government. Home schooling via voucher receives federal money and charitable donations through community service organizations. Charter schools and home schooling are therefore forced to economically provide the educational services. Public schools, as with most government agencies, rely on myriad administrative levels absorbing the funding before the much much needed dollars ever meet the classroom.

The goal of education should be the benefit to the children, not the physical plant from which that education in meted. The cost of education should, and must, be commensurate with the value received by each and every student and the immediate or adjacent economic surroundings must be irrelevant.

As the national debt grows through unchecked deficit spending on unnecessary pork laden special interest projects and election reversal, it shows only that government inefficiency, graft and corruption is destroying our country and the future of its citizens. Education must be restored and enhanced for equitable prosperity and longevity.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a real and present mental health problem. TDS is now being treated by health care professionals under the name of Trump Anxiety Disorder because derangement is a negative term. The use of negative terms in today’s society is, in itself, enough to trigger highly emotional reactions that require professional mental health therapy.

It is a product of at least four decades of public indoctrination centers promoting liberalism. Fragilizing (coined term) society is a primary mission for the “institutions of education”. By distorting language terms to soften their effectiveness allows for exploitable ambiguity. For example: Steering youth first, then adults, from using terms such as boy/man and girl/woman to gender neutral terms like person homogenizes the individual. Removing a person’s individuality removes any incentive to excel or even succeed. Highest honor awards are perceived to demean all lesser colleagues and therefore every attendee must receive a trophy or certificate of participation without ranking.

The aggregation of youth held captive and brainwashed for three quarters of each year over a 12+ year time frame are those most affected by the psychological vexation. Social engineering to societal neutrality destroys personal incentive and self worth. Without self worth, adolescents are prone to extreme anger, suicide or sustained drug use to compensate for their lack of uniqueness.

This is contradictory to what our current president presents. His ideals include working hard, accomplishing, achieving and appreciating and respecting the outcomes. To younger generations, this is opposite of what they’ve been fed throughout their school years. They only know that they are equal and they deserve…without effort. They matriculated through their early years by showing up for class, at least by attending fairly regularly. Their testing, if any occurred, was graded not on correct answers or knowledge of the subject at hand, but on the student’s ability to embrace and regurgitate the personal viewpoints on the subject expressed by the teacher.

The aforementioned societal equality is why the X, Y (aka: Millennial) and Z (aka: Centennial) generations are so inclined toward socialism. They are used to having everything handed to them without putting forth any effort to achieve on their own. They believe (because they’ve been programmed to believe) that equality is a right. They cannot understand, because they cannot recognize through abstract thought process, that equality for all is truly subsistence for all. Further yet, there is a reluctance to accept that equality for all is a false and undeniably Utopian ideal.

Every societal structure has an elite governing body. With socialism and communism that elite body distributes and redistributes any wealth available among the recipients. That body of elites, due to human nature, will always take a bit more for themselves, leaving less for redistribution. Socialism is the elimination of any middle class, not all classism. Socialism, at it’s best, is the production of two very discordant classes.

The political bent of the majority of public school teachers and college professors and instructors is constantly projected into the malleable minds of those whom they are charged with educating. Where once the schools promoted “work hard and be all you can”, the new slogan might be “sloth in and be whatever you claim you are”. Additionally, what the kids of today get out of school is low self esteem and the ability to identify as a victim for any reason they deem. True education is a wayward by-product of the liberal mind molding process.

Given the upbringing of the ascendants to adulthood and those of recent adulthood there is little question why they consider President Trump a foreboding and threatening figure. He expects performance and excellence and he therefore threatens everything they have been led to believe about themselves, society and governing. He is extremely individual. No president has ever acted in such a non-presidential way. He is a leader, not a follower. He makes things happen rather than awaiting happenings then blaming others for inadequate outcomes or accepting unexpected consequences as within the realm of normal. He asks that we all participate in our lives and livelihoods. His very existence triggers the social fragility produced by progressives.

Because he was born before the liberal mania took firm hold, President Trump is considered a deviation from what has become the norm. He wants and expects adherence to laws that keep us safe and maintain social order. He treats others (individuals and countries) equally and fairly…perhaps heavy handed at times, but equally and he expects others to reciprocate. Going along to get along is not the way of a Commander in Chief who produces positive outcomes.

Because he is a leader, because he deviates from political protocol, he is upsetting a component of society that only knows a soft and gentle life. He is triggering a segment of society that cannot handle any adversity. There are members (almost a cult) within our culture so used to taking a pill or seeking professional coddling to allay their self induced fears and frustrations that they cannot even stand to hear the name Trump without physically assaulting someone, breaking something or setting something aflame that does not belong to them. And, they expect to do so without repercussion for they’ve been taught throughout their formative years that violent civil disobedience is acceptable when they feel they’ve been wronged or believe something negative might be in their future.

This is truly a derangement, but it is not President Trump’s fault. The progressives who have fragilized our children and grandchildren under authority of the public education system are to blame. They are the ones responsible for the suicides and violence and dissociative behavior of the current and past three generations. It is the ideologues in charge of teaching our children who are causing them to become deranged.

Yes, there is a Trump Derangement Syndrome. It is real. It is promoted by our education system and the media that seeks only negative and announces every nuanced or perceived pessimistic action performed or word spoken by an adversary. It is not just Trump, TDS or anxiety disorder, is now excited by any deviation from a progressive mindset.

Once again we have experienced a mass shooting that took place in another gun-free zone. At Umpqua College, just like the preceding situations, Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, Fort Hood, and other locations the shooters felt they would be able to effect significant damage before anyone could show up to stop them. They would be able to “enhance their personal profile” even if it meant their own death.

I recently had a head spinning moment when I read an article on a left wing blog to which I subscribe. I found it just so far off the mark that I have to counter punch. I won’t name the blog because I may be their only subscriber and I don’t want to double the announced readership for this professional writers group. However, the posting is titled, “Data Proves Obama Right: Guns Deaths Are Bigger Threat To Americans Than Terrorism”.

The article quotes Democrats, other progressive and anti-gun blogs. It even includes a highly biased and dubious chart which professes to corroborate the president’s statement. I’m sure it works with semi-intelligent Obama worshipers who rage at FOX News or even CNN if there has been a differing fact or opinion presented. Of course, they get the distorted word through hearsay because most liberals cannot stand to directly access any information that doesn’t reinforce what they inherently know.  Thus they tend not to seek any truth.

What this article, as with most opinion biased presentations, fails to account for are the number of lives saved by guns. I can’t find any data regarding the number of lives saved by Obama’s cherished terrorists. Perhaps such data does exist, but I have tried five different search engines with no avail. The closest I can find through any of the search engines checked is an article on Homeland Security Today  titled “Inestimable Lives Believed Saved by Terrorist Watch List ” (emphasis added). The next closest might be “Waterboarding Saved Lives”, but the terrorists in that article did not save any lives through their own volition.

Gun Owners of America offers some fascinating historical facts that any liberal can only challenge by yelling racist, bigot, misogynist, homophobe or other derogatory term. I’m willing to bet that not one will attempt to dispute the footnote documented facts offered with anything less.

I cannot definitely identify the original source of this article because it can be found on many blog sites and news sources throughout the Internet without attribution to the writer. That said, according to an article by Tim Brown titled, “Public School Forces Girls to Follow Islamic Dress Code!” there might be cause for concern.

As I read the piece, my first thought was that coercing young girls to act like Muslims is wrong. However, as read on, I allowed myself the opportunity to see both sides of this argument. If this were a trip to a Mosque for indoctrination, I could understand the outrage. However, I refuse to be led by the phrasing of any source, be it from the left or the right, or if it is what I want to hear or opposing my beliefs. That is not to say I do not have strong opinions about many subjects.

The drawing card for above linked essay is in the following few sentences.

THERE IS A DRESS CODE FOR THIS TRIP: All students must wear appropriate long pants. Ankles must be covered. Girls must bring wide scarves or hooded sweatshirts for the mosque.

There should be no objection to showing respect at all venues attended on a field trip.  The portion that is easily missed is the following.

The world religions field trip is next Tuesday, January 13. We will be visiting the Denver Mosque, the Assumption Greek Orthodox Cathedral, and the Rodef-Shalom Synagogue. We will then eat lunch at Park Meadows Food Court. Students must either bring a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at the food court.

This is a WORLD RELIGIONS field trip. There is much more to be concerned about beyond the kids entering a Mosque and hearing a little bit about one particular religion. Yes, the whole premise of the trip might be an indoctrination course for Islam. However, in reading the whole article, it doesn’t sound much like that. Some of the stories linked below this one are much scarier.

After reading this and similar articles, the questions I pose are: If there is such a barking about “separation of church and state” by the liberal educators, why is any religion or place of assembly and directed worship even in the curriculum? Is this the only scheduled field trip? Why are only these three religious sects considered? What about a Buddist Temple, a Catholic Church, Methodist and Baptist and Pentacostal churches? Why are the students, against the progressive principles of public education, being exposed to some but not even a well rounded look at religions? After all, this is professed to be a World Religions course.

Perhaps a more extensive look at religions might show how anti-female, angry, hateful, brutal and domineering one religion really is. Either that or let Christmas break and Easter week be so called once again and let Johnny bow his head on the playground.

Public education contradictions continue to astound me.

How does the government spend your tax dollars to educate your child?  I have blogged over and over that more money could be spent on the political and social indoctrination education of our kids if it weren’t for the multiple levels of administration.

I swear I could not make this stuff up if I wanted to.  An article from L.A. Times online revealed the truth for all to see.  “One of the largest elementary schools in the nation, Miramonte has about 1,500 students and a teaching and administrative staff of about 150”.

Given that the maximum allowable class size is 30 students per teacher, this reveals to me that the school might be somewhat admin heavy.  By dividing the 1,500 students by the maximum allowable class size requires 50 teachers.  And, given the article states there are about “150 teaching and administrative staff”, that breaks down to about 100 school overlords.

Any private enterprise that had two managers for every worker bee would either be: (a) illegal or (b) in business for about a week, or both.

It is imperative to soak the rich for more of their earned money to fund more of these highly efficient government programs.
