AMERICANS NOW DEMAND A STRONG CENTRAL GOVERNMENT

November 23, 2016

While most people today (especially conservatives and libertarians) choose not to admit it, we all want a strong government. Strong, not abusive or authoritarian or devastatingly large, but strong is what we want and need. Collectively, we’ve voted against the thing we truly want on four consecutive occasions now. George W. Bush was weak. He had some good points but overall he was timid and politically concerned. Obama is anemic when compared to Bush. Obama’s strong point is his despotic pen and phone takeover of the other two branches of government.

Trump has vastly different views from those of Obama, and though he has not yet shown himself to be a despotic ideologue, he is recognized as authoritative. A major difference between the two might be Trump’s ability to listen and act upon information that is inconsistent with his prior understanding or knowledge. We’ve already seen him bridge chasms created in the campaign process by meeting with and, at this point, speculatively offering jobs within the administration to his former political detractors.

Obama fired those who didn’t immediately smile and nod in agreement with every wild-eyed romantic suggestion he proposed. Once dismissed, he then shamed the fired mercilessly to cover his own reprehensible actions. Those caught breaking the law on his behalf, however, were awarded sanctuary within the administration. Lateral transfers, advancement or retirement with full pension and benefits are commonly noted. His attorney(s) general refused to prosecute on behalf of the American people because, in more than one case, both are implicated in unlawful events.

Obama is strong in his Utopian views and willingly defies the very constitution on which he claims profound knowledge and is sworn to uphold. Perhaps he studied law, and the constitution in particular, simply to identify how to violate them and avoid expeditious rebuke or repercussions.

We need a strong government, one within which are public servants with strong convictions and adherence to our founding documents and laws made with regard to them. The original documents were written with reason and caution, not emotion or political bias. That is why changing them requires an “act of congress”.

At this point we’ll have to wait and see if the next president drains the swamp as promised or lags along with what we have; a costly bloated and inefficient government filled with regulatory statutes lacking reason or meaning. Already, Democrats are rallying to find the best way to deny confirmation to any right-minded appointees. Donald J. Trump has pledged to rightsize (a business term coined in the late 1990s) the government through attrition and request budgets that help that process along.

Congress may once again act in a congressional manner, as a third member of the government, rather than fearful of being termed racist because they don’t cow-tow to radical wants of a president of color. And yes, orange is a color. Just ask John Boehner. Supreme Court appointees upholding laws rather than common culture will also restore and strengthen the government as it was meant to be.

WE HAVE ALREADY EXPERIENCED OUR FIRST WOMAN PRESIDENT

August 17, 2016

Hillary continues to assert that it is time for a woman president and that she alone is the one to fill that pant suit position. However, I contend that there has been a woman in charge of the nation’s happenings since the election in 2008 and it is not Michelle <link>.

Since early in his first term, I have questioned Obama’s ability to make decisions and execute plans in the best interest of our country. (The fact that he needs Teleprompters with phonetic spelling to pronounce his own name correctly should be a giveaway.) The best interest for us and our country, in my opinion, is for individual and national leadership, responsibility, safety and prosperity. Taking 16 hours, or put another way allowing escape and evasion time, to send the most highly trained field troops to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden is not leadership.

From the beginning we have seen that the current cabal in Washington D.C. has quite a different set of goals in mind. While each statement uttered from behind the podium with the presidential seal sounds correct, each action taken has been quite the opposite. There is as much spin and deception coming from the top billed actors <link> as there is from the stammering press secretaries and spokes persons of the various agencies as they try to cover for the directed players.

Hillary claims that she is the only one who has the experience to effectively run the country and interact with world leaders. Again, I suggest that for the past 7+ years the country has, in essence, been run by a woman – a black woman, Valerie Jarrett. Certainly by this time Hillary has fulfilled sufficient favors for tyrants and dictators around the globe as requested. As a national figurehead as opposed to a department head, the title would keep her in position to continue the trend. Giving away our national secrets, security and sovereignty in exchange for personal cash is, after all, the established Clinton way.

Clinton, like so many other political insiders, is not a governor, she is not a leader, she is a front liner for those who govern and lead from behind the curtain. There is a government behind the government that we see only when looking into the shadows. <link>

This is why Donald Trump is so despised by not only the progressive Democrats but the entrenched Republicans as well. He is unaccustomed to being told how to run an organization. Because he has done exceedingly well by hiring and listening to top echelon advisors, it is feared he will continue this pattern as president. He will undoubtedly seek the best and brightest for his cabinet, department heads, Pentagon officials and the like and take their advice to heart. But the fear is that he will not follow the orders of the leaders of the country. It would be a very, very bad thing to have an independent and responsible thinker and doer in charge.

DUMP TRUMP

October 20, 2015

There’s a movement in progress to keep Donald Trump from hosting SNL on November 7.

Some on the left want to once again abandon any right to free speech if that speech includes conservative thought. They say that the program will embarrass NBC because of Trump’s views. In order to reinforce their biased viewpoint, they are spreading the word that it will alienate NBC’s Latino and pro-immigrant viewers by showing how little the corporation cares. Unlike any of the comedic skits skewering conservatives, the claim is that Trump spews hateful rhetoric that cannot be reconciled in comedy.

Whoa! He doesn’t say what I believe and inherently know, so shut him down. This is typical of the tolerant, inclusive and diversity driven left. If you feel as I do, you’re welcome and we can have a discussion. If you have a different viewpoint, you are wrong and therefore a bigot.

I quit watching Hannity some years ago because he tends to overtalk and shut down liberals as they attempt to make their points known. I say let them speak their own words so the world can find out just how factually bereft they really are. Offer a counterpoint when he or she has made a complete fool of themself, but let the world see just how self contradictory liberalism can truly be.

And I say the same for NBC and SNL. Allow the station and program an opportunity to showcase what might be the progressive’s premier exposure to Donald Trump. After all, there possibly isn’t a liberal who has ever listened to what he has to say. Most liberals, because they hate to hear opposing viewpoints, generally get their news about conservatives through filtered and distorted news sources such as the former Daily Show and the totally partisan MSNBC, NPR, etc. while occasionally tuning in to CNN (Clinton News Network).

Hey liberals, let the Donald make a complete fool of himself right in front of you and millions of others. You’ll have even more to misrepresent for the coming weeks or months.

But then, he could make a salient point for the liberal world to hear. That would infuriate you and cause you to find ways to pervert it before fellow liberals realize they agree with him. Could that possibility be what’s really behind your protest?
