IS DONALD J. TRUMP IS THE WRONG OR RIGHT PRESIDENT TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY?

July 5, 2017

The knowledge and intelligence of the voting public has been so degraded over the past two to three decades that choosing a president is no longer a matter of national pride, personal integrity or doing what is best for the country. Voting has become a popularity contest. Idiots at the polls now vote for the candidate deemed by the media and pundits as “most likely to win”. That way they can feel good about themselves after the election.

Our last president won the idiot choice award twice. Once winning because of his ancestral heritage, oratory and charisma and a second time on his oratory and charisma alone. He did little to benefit the economy, blacks and other minorities, business, workers or bolster the standing of the U.S. among other nations of the world. In fact, he did just the opposite. He damaged the U.S. with his actions in attempt to swiftly turn the country into a Marxist regime. Even many of those who voted for the free party favors offered by President Obama capably recognized that his perceived successor was not the right person for the soon to be vacated office.

The other choice was a non politician; someone who many thought might stand a chance of correcting the deviant course the nation was put upon during the previous eight years. The choice was either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Clearly, Hillary would continue down the path toward socialism. That left the successful celebrity and billionaire business magnate, Donald Trump.

It was clear and well known for years before the announcement of his candidacy that Mr. Trump is a strong but crude business specialist and not a politician. Those factors drew tens of thousands to the rallies in which he championed the exact opposite of what the nation had experienced with the outgoing administration. Trump said he would fill his cabinet with the best, most qualified and successful members who were willing to take on the matters of the nation with aplomb, not apology.

Unlike the cautious, politically correct and eloquent Barack Obama, Donald Trump is rash, brash, direct and unapologetic in his words and actions. He decisively says what is on his mind without forethought of political consequence. He wants to correct the ills of the nation rapidly. He holds meetings and listens to his counselors’ and advisers’ input but does not dwell on the small differences of opinion and expertise that stall implementation. Eg. He would not wait 16 hours (time to allow escape) before authorizing a raid on America’s #1 enemy.

In his first six months:

President Trump has removed the bindings from our combat troops that were put in place by the military shaming Obama. He does not micro-manage the military. He leaves battlefield decisions to the well trained officers in command of the fighters. The rules of engagement have returned to reasonable. Our troops are once again allowed to defend themselves and they can take an offensive posture against those who wish to kill them. Our fighting men and women are no longer two legged targets. He, President Trump, is regaining the respect for and from our military, allies and our enemies on behalf of America.

The stock market is at an all time high. Retirement funds/401Ks are building assets for workers. Employment is regaining ground as business improves. Not only is the fictitious unemployment rate dramatically lower than any time during the business wrecking Obama years <link> , the true labor participation rate  <link> is commendably higher. Consumer confidence is up. Though auto and large luxury items remain slow, home sales are not.

The housing market is rebounding with resale homes on the market for an average of 45 days over 2011’s average of 84 days. Prices are appreciating as well with a national average increase of almost 8.5% between May 2016 and May 2017. Between the November elections and present, that appreciation is actually 9.2% <link>.

Illegal immigration is down by a whopping 65%-67% according to government statistics. Illegal alien criminals are self deporting along with those under ICE deportation orders. Many who would otherwise attempt breaking into the nation are rethinking the consequences. Paying a coyote thousands of dollars only to be ejected within weeks or months of entry, if they even succeed at getting in, is considered the primary reason.

We now have a balanced Supreme Court. The majority of the seated justices believe in and adhere to the U.S. Constitution. One more constructionist will restore the order of law our founding fathers imagined.

As president, Donald Trump has managed to accomplish this and more despite the “resistance” from congress and the socialist/fascist lemmings that still follow the defeated America hating leaders of the Democrat party, past and present. He is still ahead of the establishment swamp creatures evading changes to business as usual in Washington, D.C.

If he would only forego the acidic, rapid fire tweets that allow the ammunition they pursue, he could possibly win their minds as he presents them and the entire country with benefits beyond what they believe they seek. Left to their present obvious choice, we would have the economic and political woes of Venezuela.

Even perfection would probably be poorly received. However, it is not becoming for the man in charge to personally defend himself against every attacker or perceived attacker through vicious social media retorts on a daily basis. Many of the verbal pugilists would fall to the wayside without such goading and prompting.

However, the general public refuses to accept that Donald Trump is holding two positions right now. First and foremost he is a successful businessman. As such he has had to intermingle in politics for years, yet he is no politician. He is a doer; he acts and reacts without hesitation. He is not one to dwell on or over-think situations. He sought and was awarded the presidency. He did so to make the changes necessary to restore America to its former standing. He is learning politics and the mire created by bureaucracy. It must be frustrating to him.

Second, he is the President of the United States. He is in transition. In business, he listens to and sorts advice from his management team. He then acts in the most appropriate way for the betterment of his business and his employees. As he attempts to meld common sense business practices with politics he is encountering potholes and speed bumps. Not everyone in Congress has the same goals in mind and some are unforgiving. They not only balk at ideas not aligned with their thinking, they stall and obstruct and restrain any progress because it is the way of government.

Donald Trump is a social liberal, a fiscal conservative and a national patriot. He believes strongly in the rule of law and expects compliance. His strength is in his patriotism. This is a combination that Washington, D.C. and the nation has not seen, at least not for many years. It is one that confuses the establishment and infuriates the left who cannot accept anything other than someone who kow-tows to their own “all inclusive” liberal, progressive, socialist ideology.

Though some cannot separate the individual from the office, they would be far better off if they could. President Trump is truly doing some wonderful things for the country. Mr. Trump is an unabashed Twitiot who will lash out when demeaned. He said early on that when he is hit he hits back harder. The media hates him for this. Once again, he is only doing what he promised. Presidential? Eh, not so much.

To sum it up, I said in 2007 that it was time for a black president, but Barack Obama was not the right black man. He proved that I was correct.

I believed then as I do now that the country needs a leader with strong ties to, and understanding of, business. He’s been in office only six months. Business gurus agree that it takes an average of 13 months for a person to comfortable fit into a new position. Does he deserve more time to prove he’s the leader this country needs? I think so, but I’m open to changing that opinion.

LET’S AVOID RUSHING TO A FOOLISH CONCLUSION

May 19, 2017

For a week and a half we’ve heard a trickle of information and a flood of speculation regarding the dismissal of James Comey. The social media meme thread includes questions and accusations involving coercion, bribery, extortion and private threats.

First the Democrats began crying for Comey’s head because he caused Hillary’s presidential demise with his public announcements. Next they gloated and praised his performance for a while after he publicly announced the conclusion of an investigation into Email Gate. Then they turned on him like rabid and starving rats when he stood before another microphone to proclaim his investigators found new evidence and he was reopening the case.

James Comey was the Federal Bureau of Investigations Director from September 4, 2013 until his last day on May 9, 2017. Comey’s career includes government affiliation from 2002 when he became a U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York and a stint as United States Deputy Attorney General under George W. Bush. Thereafter, for eight years, he chose the private sector where he was employed as council for Lockheed Martin and Bridgewater Associates before returning to public service as Director of the FBI.

According to his bio, Comey was a registered Republican until 2016. At that time, he changed his party affiliation to Independent. Was this move made due to distrust for the Republican nominee at that time?

As of this publication, it has been eleven days since Comey’s discharge and there still is no definitive explanation for why it happened when it did, only conjecture and opinion. Yet, depending on viewpoint or political bent, there is angst and anger on behalf of both Trump supporters and “the Resistance”. Half want the president to be impeached (but that started about midnight EST on November 8, 2016) while the other side supportively praises his actions.

Neither side has sufficient information to know whether the move was warranted at that time, prior to then or not at all. There seems to be nary a fact available. All judgments at this point appear to be made on innuendo, speculation, allegations, wants and wishes. It is simply another opportunity for the resistance movement to call for resistance. News stations and print media claiming unbiased reporting are all knee deep in the hog pen mire that is national politics today. Social media offers highly charged opinions which become gospel as they twine their way through the web to hand-held electronic devices.

It is said that James Comey, like his predecessor, wrote down the important points of meetings with ranking political officials in case he needed them to testify before congress. Is the wording of those notes influenced by his emotions, fears or ambitions? Does he also have notes of meetings with President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Adam Schiff, Elija Cummings and others? Can/will they be subpoenaed? Will the notes become a tell-all memoir worth millions of dollars to a publisher as with most of the recent politicians upon leaving the political arena? We’ll have to wait to see.

Echoes for a special counsel resounded through the halls of congress and microphones of the media until one was appointed. Shouldn’t they also call for special prosecutors and independent investigators to look into such things as Eric Holder and his Fast and Furious scheme and the Clintons (both) including sexual assault, national security breaches, the Clinton foundation – fraud and influence peddling. Perhaps someone should take a serious look at President Obama and why he made public announcements of troop movements and assault planning days, weeks and months before they occurred. Do you remember Extortion 17? How about seeking more information regarding how it was that James Comey took it upon himself not to prosecute Hillary Clinton? This decision usurped the authority of his boss, Loretta Lynch, though she didn’t object.

I’m all for a special prosecutor and Robert Mueller has the potential to do the job. Let’s find out the whole story about Russian involvement into our election process. Let’s seek the truth about all aspects of government. Let’s quiet the whining. If there is need, censure or even impeach and remove the president. If nothing is found we can announce the idiocy of the call.

As we’re spending thousands of person hours (*note the PC reference), frittering resources and tens of millions of dollars with independent investigations and special prosecutors trying to prove negatives, why not look into the ties between Adam Schiff and organized crime? Perhaps there should be a special prosecutor investigating Eric Stalwell and his connection to child trafficking, enslavement, prostitution and surgical mutilation. There is currently nothing tying these men to the crimes indicated, but how do we know for sure no crimes were committed without a thorough investigation? You’ve now seen their names linked to crimes and both are bred from the corrupt politics of California.

If there’s truly an interest in election tampering or fraud or influencing an election, why isn’t there more attention given to illegal aliens and felons and dead people voting or computers changing votes? Where is the outrage about people voting two and three times in different districts under different names? Where is the concern about Debbie Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC denying Bernie Sanders equal opportunity?

Who can assure, in this politically charged environment, that even Robert Mueller is unbiased and able to do the job without malice? After all, Director Comey was heralded as “as honest as they come” until he became known as corrupt.

THE PENDULUM SWING-IS IT A GOOD THING?

March 6, 2017

Over the past few decades we (the attentive few) have seen our Executive branch take on more and more power and authority. The executive branch is now just shy of dictatorial. The body congress is intimidated, highly partisan and sheepishly resigned. Our courts are directing legislation.

The constitution doesn’t allow for it, congress isn’t granting it and the courts are capitulating. It’s happening before our eyes as we sleep and while we’re blindly awake. The news we receive, the little real news and the fake news, feeds us only what those at the top want us to hear.

Politicians have lied to their constituents since time immemorial. It’s nothing new. However, within my short span of time and awareness, it has become most blatant. It is done without regard for your intelligence and without concern for being called on it. “I can assure you that the United States has no intention of using force to overthrow the Castro regime.”…“I am not a crook”…“Read my lips”…“I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”…“Intelligence gathered by this and other governments leaves no doubt that the Iraq regime continues to possess and conceal some of the most lethal weapons ever devised”…“The misconceptions are that we are conducting spying operations on US citizens, which is of course not the fact. That is absolutely not what we do.”… “I have no recollection of that”…“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”… and of course, “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period”.

The overlapping, redundant and duplicitous alphabet agencies (NSA, CIA, FBI, OIC, NSC and even the IRS) within the government now control our elected and appointed officials. Be it by intimidation extortion or bribery, the spooks are in charge. They also hold a very strong influence over the run-of-the-mill mid level bureaucrats with citizens who step out of their overlord defined box immediately become subject to enhanced repercussion. <link>

Our new president is in feud with the miscreants of all the above named agencies and departments. He agrees with many of us who believe the inner cabal has either been fraudulently awarded, or usurped more supremacy than authorized by the citizens. President Trump claims commitment to reining that jurisdiction and restoring the federal government to its rightful limits of privilege and dominance.

Doing so, might be the world’s greatest challenge because only he and his relatively small team are taking on an extensive and deep seated resistance. It’s David fighting a Goliath force of three actual factions.

First are those who desire to keep their seats of assumed authority and clout. Second are the ignorant lemmings who do not recognize from whom they receive their marching orders or even understand what they mindlessly “protest”.

This layer is under constant bombardment and encouragement of the broadcast, print and peer social media. They are organized by charismatic figures with a devious agenda. It’s a cultist engagement. The goals of the leaders are not shared with the devotees. The worshipers will only find out the last batch of Kool-Aid is spiked with poison when cocktail time is announced. Society as we know it will be doomed by the heedless group-think of the devotees if we allow them to reach that hour.

So then we have to question; Is a rapid and forceful pendulum swing the best thing for the country and the world at this time? Will quickly righting the course of the country from its errant direction of the recent eight years upset the tenuous balance of the nation and the world? Or, will a slower, more methodical natural change keep the ship from capsizing as we come about?

IT WAS CALLED A DAY WITHOUT IMMIGRANTS BUT FOR MANY IT WAS THE LAST DAY OF WORK

February 22, 2017

After eight years of coddling people who have skirted laws and agents in their quest to break into our country, some employers finally found the strength to push back. Stories abound from coast to coast regarding the many business owners who decided that their livelihoods would not be dictated by the people they employ.

Last Thursday was labeled “A Day Without Immigrants”. Natural born citizens as well as legal and illegal immigrants took to the streets in protest of what some call security for our borders, economy and nation in general. Many of the protesters found that actions have consequences. Employers have an abundance of applications and resumes for people anxious to fill the now vacant positions.

According to news articles:

Tulsa, OK – 12 Latinos were dismissed for failing to show up for work. The business had to close for the day and the owner lost his ability to pay his ongoing bills that day.

Statesville, N.C. – 18 people lost their employment for failing to report to work on time-sensitive contracts.

Lexington, S.C. – after being warned, 21 workers were fired for defiantly not showing up for work.

Bonita Springs, FL – 6 staff members no longer have jobs.

Commerce City, CO – 30 brick layers were set idle.

Nolensville, TN – 20 households lost, at least, a significant portion of their income.

Before you cry RACIST you must understand that when employees of any nationality shut down a business, the owner must assure that it will not happen a second time for the same or any other reason. When a person invests their expertise, labor and money to produce an ongoing income for themselves and their family, that becomes his or her priority. Employing people is only a means to achieve that personal goal. There is no obligation to provide for those willing to cause harm to that business or employer. If only we could get rid of the insubordinate deadwood in government as easily.

It’s not a matter of race or nationality, it’s a matter of protecting one’s investment. If these employers were truly racist, would he or she have given a job to someone they despise because of their national origin or skin color?

Restaurant patrons coast to coast experienced delays in receiving their fare because waiters, cooks and other staff failed to report for work. Some establishments were forced to close for the day due to lack of staff. From California to Maine, the unreliable are now seeking new employment. While many, but not all, are Hispanic, that is not the reason for their firing. Caring more about making a political statement than they did about their employer’s right to continue in business is the reason.

SPENDING BIG MONEY TO SAVE THE ECONOMY

February 14, 2017

As reported in the Wall Street Journal, wealthy Mexicans are willing to put up multiple millions of dollars to assist Mexican nationals illegally in our country as they fight to remain in the U.S. The Mexican government has also allocated $50 million to its consulates to help the movement. I guess neither the wealthy nor the corrupt government of Mexico really want the low skilled, uneducated (even after attending public institutions in the U.S.) law breakers returning to their home country.

The offered money is to tie up the U.S. courts, exhaust resources and frustrate government lawyers. Protesters will undoubtedly take over the grounds outside federal courthouses. An opportunity for drones equipped with facial recognition cameras overhead? Perhaps an apprehension or two, immediate escort to a courtroom and a speedy trial? With courts backlogged already, the proposed foreign money will prolong the stay for the possibly tens of thousands of potential deportees. Cloward and Piven would be very proud of the way foreign nationals extrapolated on the lessons the pair taught budding socialists back in the 1960s.

However, this battle is easily fought and won: (a) President Trump appoints immigration judges to the courts who are willing to uphold current immigration laws. (b) ICE has buses lined up and idling outside the backdoor of immigration courts. (c) Judge asks plaintiff if they were born in the U.S. If answer is no, then he or she asks, “Do you have a valid passport, green card, entry visa or other government issued authorization to be in the country”? If the answer again is no, a bailiff escorts the defendant to the awaiting transport. NEXT!

The above suggestion allows for clearing each case in three to five minutes. That’s 12 to 20 per hour per courtroom or plus or minus 150 of the criminal trespassers per day per courtroom. Can you imagine the Mexican economy with so many returnees?

It only took minutes to cross the border without permission, it should only take minutes to reverse the process and correct the problem. Family matters should not be considered by the courts. They are the responsibility of the lawbreakers who created the situations. The responsibility is upon the adults who should have made arrangements beforehand, not the citizens of the U.S. Yeah, responsibility. What an unconventional thought!

Harsh? You bet! We have millions of people on the welfare and unemployment rolls who should be “encouraged” to pick apples or lettuce or make up hotel beds or pluck chickens, etc. in return for their government handout. Perhaps picking up trash alongside the roadways or after a Democrat rally might be in order. Without people here illegally taking those positions, there might be more interest by otherwise lazy Americans to do the work. No work, no sharing the taxpayer’s money. Let’s call it redistributing the work.

We, as a country, have been remiss with our border security since before Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. That act legalized some three million lawbreakers in exchange for the promise of enforced immigration control that never came. Today, the seditious lot describing themselves as progressives, Democrats and occasionally as “independents” are again demanding the same tit-for-no-tat that occurred thirty years ago. They use the same mantra, “the people only want to better their lives, and America offers that opportunity”. They neglect to account for the people entering who want to destroy our systems and values and kill as many of us as possible. Certainly those who break a second law need not be taking up the courts’ time or the taxpayer provided interpreters’ time or that of the free legal aid lawyers.

This isn’t tag or a flag football game, folks. It’s for keeps and the players on both sides get hurt. At best we need not be importing criminals, potential criminals or terrorists.  Protecting our country against illegal aliens is only part of what is necessary. Protecting our sovereignty by defining and defending borders is a requirement for any sovereign nation.

PM Trudeau is affably willing to aggregate people with unverifiable histories from war-torn nations without viable governments.  Perhaps we should allocate more resources to the northern border as well.  Immigration reform must be comprehensive.

When deportees are found in the U.S. a second time without authorization as six month stay at Sheriff Joe’s pink panty tent city might be in order.  No trial at the end of the sentence, just immediate expulsion.
