MEDICATIONS AND MASS MURDERS

February 19, 2018

Nikolas Cruz, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School mass murderer, was on medication to deal with “emotional fragility”.

Those who have read my previous writings on this subject are well aware of my take on synthetic pharmaceuticals. I am not a doctor or a pharmacist. I am a civilian citizen who is concerned about the number and types of things we are seduced into ingesting in the name of health.

I’ve been called out by medical model professionals of various disciplines who say that the benefits of FDA approved drugs far outweigh the negatives. To which I ask, “Yeah, what about all the violence and suicides committed by those on medications?” “Would those violent acts still have occurred without the mind altering introductions?” (Hypothetical because we’ll never know.)

Though the concentration today is on medications to overcome the symptoms of anxiety and depression, they are not my only concern. I have friends and relatives on as many as 19 drugs taken regularly…most commonly every day. Some of the drugs are to counter the side effects of the drugs taken to allay the side effects caused by other medications that are taken to mask the symptoms of a root problem.

In my view, synthetic pharmaceuticals are too often prescribed to move a patient out the door so that the doctor can record another patient visit. Most synthetic pharmaceuticals do nothing more than hide the symptoms of illnesses rather than treat or remedy the underlying problem. Some, if not all, have a list of “potential” negative side effects which are far worse than the problem displaying the symptoms they are meant to overcome. All too often, there is little in-depth monitoring of the patient’s reactions to the prescribed panacea.

Stephen Paddock, now of Las Vegas fame, was on Diazepam. According to the FDA, diazepam can produce “confusion, withdrawal symptoms, euphoria, increased anxiety, panic, irritability, delirium, aggressiveness/aggression, numbed emotions, instability, restlessness, agitation, inappropriate behavior, delusions, rage, hallucinations, nightmares, confusional or paranoid psychosis/psychoses” in up to 10 percent of users (and that estimate might be generously low).

Drugs.com offers some answers to the horror of today’s society. Click on “A to Z drug list”, pick a letter, a drug, then scroll down to side effects and scare the hell out of yourself.

Almost every one of the mass killers and teen suicides of the past two decades have been using prescribed synthetic pharmaceuticals with horrendous potential side effects. A few well-known names associated with mass atrocities that you may recall are: Prozac, Ritalin, Effexor, Celexa, Paxil, Zoloft, Welbutrin. Those are the names of the real killers.

While the direct weapon most commonly used is a firearm, the list of multiple killings and suicides range among ropes, cars, trucks, knives, ice picks, baseball bats, 2x4s, hammers, screw drivers, machetes, explosives and on and on. Whatever is available when the medication kicks in becomes an instrument of choice.

DONALD TRUMP THE DICTATOR

February 5, 2018

I’m sorry, but I keep retrieving “information” from left-of-center sources. You know, the ones the president deems fake news. I find their “truths” most often devoid of facts while filled with bias, speculation and ungrounded opinion. Generally it is amazingly contradictory to what I accept as true after a little research.

I have a tendency to probe further when I find something that is out of whack from what I have come to believe or even too close to what I want to believe. I chase rabbits down holes where most people would twist an ankle and limp away without regarding the overall cause or effect of the depression before I form conclusions. My writings are often days after the fact because I want them to be correct, not speculative and opinion drawn. Yeah, I’m that kind of different.

Recently, I have concentrated on the talking heads who spout that Donald Trump is a dictator. Again, there is no substantiation for the sentiment, just the accusation. It’s like calling someone a racist, without recognizing that the person is of mixed race or part of a family comprised of many races, just because there is a disagreement of policy or conviction. The dictator appellation is always thrown out by people who don’t understand a dictatorship. They are the same people who advocate for the Castro brothers, Kim Jung un, Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro. They ignorantly embrace socialism and communism believing either governing and economic system is better than a capitalist free society because that is what they’ve been taught in school.

They are the people who applauded President Obama for unconstitutionally enacting prohibitive regulations on their and our lives because he is charismatic. They are the people who believe it is better to be dependent on government than it is to be responsible for their personal well-being. They are the generation(s) still living with their parents because whatever income they derive, is worthy of gifts only for themselves. They would prefer using the family car to owning and maintaining their own. Allowing mom or dad to pay the the insurance premium is what parents are all about.

They are the same lemmings who do the grunt work on behalf of multi-millionaire community organizers and billionaire subversives who’s goal is to ultimately subjugate them. To them, causing occasional social disturbance with physical violence for $10 or $15 an hour is preferable to an eight hour shift and regular income.

We have seen a tremendous change in society over the past few decades as the public school teachers and college professors spend more time and effort advocating for gender confusion and social justice than they do educating students. What we now have is generation after generation of youth who cannot read their high school diplomas (even if they receive one), but know it is racist to point it out…no matter what their heritage.

What they have is an ignorant love for dictatorship because they don’t understand what it is. However, they will protest it when it comes upon them. That generation will wish Donald Trump was still, or again, their president.

A GROWING BODY OF INNUENDO

May 30, 2017

Facts are facts. News is news. Allegations and innuendo are neither facts or news. Yet, due to electronic transmission, there is a confusion generated and allegations are accepted as truth.

It was about two weeks ago that I read an article about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson considering a run for the presidency. This article was generated from a GQ interview in which he answered questions rather ambiguously but without denial of the thought. He’s having a ball with it. The story has made it through the web and back meaning he is seriously looking into it. It’s beginning to generate a donation flow to a non-existent campaign.

I laughed knowing, at least hoping, that it was not a sincere consideration as I read through the drivel. I don’t know anything about The Rock’s political acumen or his knowledge of history or world affairs. He might be quite knowledgeable in all those areas. He may also be ignorant. He’s an entertainer by trade. He’s a celebrity. Those attributes make some people send checks to his manager. Me? Eh, not so much.

However, just for fun, I chose to share the “news” verbally with a friend to see what kind of response it might evoke. I was prepared to be called a fool for believing it. To my surprise, there was no questioning, not even an eyebrow raise. It was readily accepted as true and something to hope for (anybody to get us away from Trump). I honestly don’t know if it was carried any further. In any case, I doubt that any research was done to verify or deny the veracity of the idea. The idea was implanted.

Newscasters try mightily to make their presentations believable by quoting an “anonymous source close to” the origination of a story. That anonymous source might be the aide to a congressman who was actually present when a third person phone call took place. That aide might have conveyed their understanding of what was discussed based on a perception of that half of the conversation. From there it became news as a fourth or successive person shared it with a reporter who shared it with the public.

It is foolish to believe anything you read or watch on the one-eyed idiot box. There is an agenda for everything these days. If you like the agenda, you are likely to accept it as true otherwise it is summarily rejected. That’s the way we’re programmed. Innuendo becomes truth. When repeated enough times, it is undeniable fact.

BTW, President Trump was seen eating some bacon and picking his nose with his right hand on Air Force One just before landing in Saudi Arabia last week. He didn’t bother to wash or even wipe it before shaking hands with King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia.

That’s the truth!

HOME GROWN TERRORISTS IN OUR CITIES

May 1, 2017

There’s a lot of talk about home grown terrorists today. A major fault of the conversation is the concentration on Islamic terrorism. While this is a valid concern, it is certainly not the only and maybe not the most dangerous threat to the United States and the people herein.

Islamic terrorists want to destroy those of us deemed infidels. They want Sharia as the law of the land and the world and they are willing to impose it upon us by any means possible. Killing with guns, bombs, automobiles or any method available is not to be scoffed. These radicals cause fear and terror as we assume our daily duties. But they are not the only terrorists.

The fascists / communists calling themselves Antifa and Black Lives Matter are of equal concern.  While fascism is generally considered a far right doctrine, the activities are also a far left concept. Philosophers and historians, recognizing a pattern of similarity, developed the Horseshoe theory whereby the left/right spectrum is not linear but more like that of a horseshoe.  The two radical and violent factions are far closer than normally accepted because the methods by which they choose to accomplish their goals parallel one another.

The horseshoe theory makes sense. In the past, I have questioned some of the actions of the far right (militias and militant anarchist groups) because they seem to be those which, to me, looked to be those of the radical or loony left. Since becoming aware of the horseshoe theory, that question is answered. The radicals at both ends of the spectrum could at some time join forces for some movements.

Thus, classifying far left groups and their leaders who terrorize others with violence and mayhem as fascists, is not the misnomer many choose to believe. In order to intimidate rally participants, disrupt meetings, speakers, parades and events with which they don’t agree, they often do so by inciting anger, becoming violent and using weapons. They break windows, burn buildings and cars and use mace or pepper spray, fists and rocks to silence their opposition. That is terror; that is fascism! Even what’s left of the press in Venezuela refer to these tactics as rioting. Our (center left) news sources generally prefer to call them peaceful protests with a few incidents.

These terrorists got their running start with the elections of 2016. The useful idiots are commanded from behind the curtain by George Soros and his sub-lackeys (Obama – the community organizer, Schumer – the Democrats balker in chief and Warren – another hate spewing fanatic) through myriad organizations funded and directed by the above.

Remember the quote from Michele Obama, “Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation”?

Political correctness taught to our youth and forced upon us is intentional and nefarious modification of our language. (changing our conversation) Eliminating references to Christmas and Easter, the removal of all civil war statues, portraits and plaques; the renaming of buildings, streets and schools are simply illustrations of her quote from 2008. (Changing our traditions and history)

Like any radical Islamist group like ISIS, these people want to destroy America. They want to eliminate our heritage, our history and any good the future might bring.

The “protests” began early in the election to stall the Republican party and the increasing base of Donald Trump. They continued through the election and rapidly escalated to violence with the vote on November 8. Today, the anarchists find any venue possible to express their fascist viewpoints.

In typical leftist maneuvering, they blame anyone and everyone other than their own actions for their actions. They blame the police who arrest members for breaking the law.

The time is coming to fear these groups as we do our world enemies. They are here now, they are home grown and they are viciously violent. Soon the tide will turn. Patriots will withstand only so much. After that they will turn from center right to far right and respond in kind. Personal defense at rallies will become equal and opposite. Blood will be shed on both sides as the puppet masters giggle hideously.

The country is on very shaky ground right now. Not only do we have nuclear threats from the Middle East and Far East, we have to watch our backs at every large gathering we attend.

Perhaps ISIS and other radical Muslim groups are not the only major threats to our nation.

WE NEED INFORMATION TO DRAW CONCLUSIONS

April 5, 2017

One of the biggest mistakes most people make is drawing information from only one source or sources of only one dimension. In order to arrive at a conclusion (a reasoned decision based on facts and evidence), a person has to avail themselves to all facts and information possible. The conclusion must be drawn without regard for personal preferences or desired outcome.

The reason, as I see it, for the extreme divisiveness between our political viewpoints at present is that most people are predetermined to accept a particular result. They (we), refuse to consider evidence contrary to the desired conclusion. Neutral thinking is no longer taught, learned or accepted.

We, of the general public, must rely on the sincerity of the source(s) from which we derive our conclusions. Unfortunately, very few of those origins are unbiased. The information our government affords the public always has a slant or bias. Politicians believe they are responsible for determining how we must feel and think. To remain in office, it is necessary for them to influence how we think.

We all have dispositions toward particular radio and TV stations. We tend to read books, newspapers and magazines that generally agree with our viewpoints. We gravitate to information that reinforces and builds upon what we inherently know or believe.

Introducing nonconforming data into preferential thought frustrates the mind, thus it is disregarded. When such happens, when we discard facts or evidence because it conflicts with a foregone conclusion, we diminish our capacity for reason. We subject ourselves to invalid consequence due to illegitimate presumptions.

Our political system, meant to be adversarial, has become viciously antagonistic. Democrats refuse to work with Republicans because they are not Democrats. Republicans likewise block proposals offered by Democrats. Compromise to modern politicians is ‘you agree with me or else’! Correspondingly, the public takes similar positions. President Trump is not protested for what he has done politically. He is disavowed and derided because he is not a Democrat.

The lack of civil political discourse by those in office as well as the citizens who elect them is exactly why we had to endure the past eight years. It is the reason for the polar change to a character and style of complete opposite.

There is no middle ground in politics today because we refuse to listen and accept that which is different from what we ‘inherently’ know or want to be true. There is no compromise or concession. We have enacted rule by edict and opposition by anger over the past decade. The future does not look pretty.

The average life expectancy of a democracy is 200 years. We have exceeded that mark. We need to look at what we’re doing to our country and our individual lives. We must look at, see and consider both sides within the political arena before moving forward. As a society, we’re not making good decisions.

The governments of Venezuela, Cuba, Brazil and China only serve those in charge. Are your decisions derived from full information?
