GOODBYE CALIFORNIA

October 18, 2017

The citizens (and illegal aliens) of California want to secede from the union. What a wonderful happening for those of us who appreciate our nation. They want their sovereignty and we want freedom from their insanity.

Per usual, those of the liberal progressive left who want to become their own country see only the good points of being a nation of their own. They see not what they have already done to the region. They see seaports for trade and beaches for tourism. What they fail to see is the enormous debt liberals have foisted upon their state that must be absorbed solely by the new nation. (As of this writing, the spending exceeds the revenue by more than $28 billion <link> and is ever growing). Clearly, 10% of the state’s population is receiving food stamps (SNAP payments).  Many more also receive federal payments in the form of EBT, WIC, AFDC, SSI, etc.

They ignore the number of companies abandoning the region for more business friendly destinations. They rebuff the fact that the higher wage earners and wealthy retirees are exiting for states with more favorable economies and living conditions. They refuse to see that those people are taking their tax dollars away from the spendthrifts of Sacramento leaving behind a plethora of welfare awardees.

A reasonable person might see that each and every year, the state cries to Washington D.C. and FEMA for federal aid to adjust and offset the hundreds of millions of dollars worth of damage created by raging wildfires in the summer and flooding and mudslides during the winter months. Sonoma County officials, for example, are encouraging those affected by the recent wildfires to contact FEMA directly. All current federal access would go away and have to be paid by the few remaining California tax contributors.

When President Trump announced that taxpayers would no longer be illegally required to subsidize insurance companies as dictated under Obamacare, California (along with 18 other primarily Democrat controlled states) immediately hit the courts. California allows, even encourages, people in the country illegally to participate in the scheme that makes insurance expensive for the citizen taxpayers of all states.

Not only are nearly 900,000 people on the paid unemployment rolls in California, clearly 10% of the state’s population is receiving federal or combined federal and state welfare subsidies. Meanwhile…lawmakers of the state continue to pad their expense accounts and fund their retirements at the cost of citizens who often cannot even afford adequate housing.

That brings us to the homeless population and the diseases of such. California declared a state of emergency due to an outbreak of hepatitis A. At last count, nearly 600 homeless and indigent people have been identified as victims of this disease. Hepatitis A is spread by contact with other infected individuals or consumption of contaminated food or water.

While not confirmed, the CDC is looking into migrant camps where day laborers gather as the source. These camps are often found near construction sites and areas of agriculture. The day laborers tend to spend their largess in areas of lesser affluence, i.e. areas with high homeless populations.

Well, Goodbye California. Here’s hoping you do well on your own.

THE POLITICAL CLASS, ACADEMIA AND THE MEDIA vs. “WE THE PEOPLE”

September 6, 2017

I recognize that those who most need to read this and other like articles are the least likely to do so. It destroys their implanted narrative and thus must be rejected outright without review or consideration.

It doesn’t take a mental giant, or even an semi-intelligent public school graduate, to see there is a movement afoot to destroy the United States. Unfortunately, most of the imbued high school graduates and certainly the products of many four year colleges are so indoctrinated with “free” and “equal” and “diversity” and “acceptance” that critical thinking and reasoned observation is not within their purview. They cannot see or accept economic, social or political reality and cannot recognize what they are conditioned to bring about.

Today’s scholars, professors and teachers are bred on the disciplines of Saul Alinsky and Karl Marx. Marx predicted that the internal class struggle of a capitalist society would produce self destruction resulting ultimately in a socialist society. He professed socialism or an ideal classless society such as communism would result. Alinsky popularized the thinking of Marx and directed the initialization of his philosophy.

Alinsky alleged that the best method to effect change is to first create chaos of the highest order. He became the figurehead of the counter-culture movement of the 1960s and 1970s and is the mentor of the liberal journalists, teachers, professors and politicians (the reporters, guides and governors) of today.

Many of our current and recent generations, seduced by the authority of their “educators”, see only the initial and seductive stages of the socialist and communist doctrines. They have been drilled with the notion that these economic and political creeds result in global and total equality; everyone prospers from the efforts and production of the collective. The poverty and starvation that decades of submission to these philosophies is not admitted in the indoctrination. Only the ultimately infeasible Utopian representation is offered and revered.

From the chaotic state, the masses will accept any change to calm or abate the state of turbulence. That change comes in the form of socialism and ultimately communism. A soothing transition from capitalism and democracy might be termed Democratic Socialism; the first step to authoritarian dominance.

Each leader among the disciples of these philosophies believes he or she is the one to make the transition complete and viable. Every one who has tried has failed and each society transformed has suffered. The chieftains of the attempts often die under unexpected and mysterious circumstances only to be followed by stronger figures. The proles of these regimes toil endlessly for their meager existence while the elite governing class becomes enriched.

*Note the referral to two classes of these “equality for all” socio-political comradeships. This, in itself, illustrates a major contradiction to the professed uniform prosperity.

Without direct and personal incentive to produce and prosper for one’s self and family, there is little reason to work at capacity for others to benefit. Feudalism does not enhance the wealth of society. It drains the wealth from it.

I refer you to the totalitarian reign of the former USSR. For those with less historical background or initiative to do the research, read the current news coming out of Venezuela. Both of these nation states passed through the stage of Marxism, into socialism and into autocracies whereby the masses became starving chattel of the dictators.

Capitalism and democracy may not be the best forms of economy, government and civilization for it, too, is flawed. However, it has proven to be among the best for the greatest majority within. We, the U.S., are now at a negative point of transition away from personal responsibility and reward to that of dominance and submissiveness. With each new entitlement easing the need for self reliance, we move closer and closer to the proven failures of totalitarianism.

The United States is now in a hybrid state whereby public welfare is surpassed by government give-away programs. Charitably helping the infirm and incapable through public support is beneficial to a social and civilized community. However, making the lazy and sedentary comfortable and dependent with luxuries such as internet service, cell phones, monthly stipends, housing allowances and other benefits robs them of pride and incentive and allows the government to lord over them. The passive recipients democratically vote for more of the same not realizing they are electively contributing to their own servitude and that of their descendants.

The anarchists we see in the streets today are only ignorant players, for the most part. They falsely believe they are contributing to constructive societal change. Some are paid to organize and engage in protests and riots as suggested by Alinsky; to create chaos. The rest are dupes acting ignorantly, or on partial information regarding the projected outcome of their participation. Most are oblivious to the historical mistakes of multiple attempts to alter the social order. They are unaware of their contribution to totalitarianism.

TAKE DOWN THE PRESIDENT, TAKE DOWN THE COUNTRY

July 17, 2017

All the hype and hoopla about President Trump colluding with Russia to influence our election really has nothing to do with either Trump or Russia. It has to do with a man and his team wanting to change the ways of the deteriorated old guard; to make America, as we once knew it…Great Again.

The ignorance of those falling in line behind the Marxists who have invaded our nation and national political scene is absolutely amazing. The public and private educational institutions dominated by leftists (be they self-described as Communists, Socialists, Marxists or the deceitfully gentle term “progressives”) inbreed thoughts that equality is superior to ethic. Education in the liberal arts is nothing less than social engineering to a doctrine of socialism. The socialist indoctrination begins with the first contact children have with government trained and credentialed mind conditioners, aka elementary school teachers, and continues with each government “education” contact.

Even our military, formed to protect us from all enemies foreign and domestic, is now subject to the rules and regulations put forth by subversives. The “Rules of Engagement” instituted by the last administration lead only to the death of our defenders. They unnecessarily restricted our troops’ ability to take offensive action in order to win a battle. It is better to be fair than it is to win…equality for all. Unfortunately, our enemies don’t follow the same rules. President Trump has foregone the ideological micromanagement of his predecessor by returning that leadership to the knowledgeable generals and admirals of our armed forces.

Isn’t it amazing how little news the MSM shares about Cuba or Venezuela. These are the countries and economies our progressives wish to emulate. These are countries where there are basically two class economies; the elite and the destitute. This is the direction George Soros and the Bilderberg Group want to take the United States knowing that all nations of the world will then follow. A “One World Government” is the very definition of a two class system.

Those of us who see beyond the current hour misdirecting news flash are capable of chaining events. The long-term picture shows much beyond what is happening now. By relating recent history, current events, political endeavors and collective agreements it is possible to assess the ultimate goals of our “leaders”. Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030 are non-binding agreements conceptually advancing society to global communism.

What is the true goal behind Agenda 21 and Agenda 2030? Was all the speculation and examination concerning Jade Helm 15 exercises really wacko conspiracy theory? Is there a connective thread between the exercises of Jade Helm 15 and the One World objectives? These are the questions not asked by the rioters as they follow the memes of celebrities and political progressives hell-bent on exploiting the ignorant and unschooled mental adolescents.

The stumbling block in this scheme is the freedoms currently afforded to the people of the U.S. that give us the ability to fight back. However, unless more people pay attention and aggressively resist the resistance, the future of our grandchildren looks bleak. Major funding, provided by multi billionaires eager to faction populations and control the world through despotism is disbursed to ignorant minions who do the ground work on their behalf. Little do the Alinsky trained know-naughts recognize they are slaving on behalf of the elites to create their own serfdom.

The “Resist” movement is not about President Trump! It’s not about the Trump family. Trump and troupe are the misdirection of the One World leaders. The president is the shiny object, the directive point, because he refuses to fall in line with the anti-capitalist, anti-democratic and subversive globalists. The resist movement is nothing more than the cloaked but calculated harbinger to the implementation of Agenda 21, now morphed into Agenda 2030. It is the elite cabal’s engineered and cultivated lemmings unwittingly destroying their own futures and that of society as a whole in the name of socially engineered globalization. The end result, once fully implemented, is global communism. Soros is laughingly proud of his mindless followers and their progress.

The Resist movement is a product of about three generations of children attending public indoctrination camps where they have learned to lazily absorb and accept what is spewed. Thinking beyond and questioning what is professed is discouraged in public schools. The blind followers of the Alinsky trained, Marx idolizing teachers and professors carry out the messaging of their only known mentors by demanding rather than earning and protesting those who earn.

James Comey managed to scatter an investigation of unfounded allegations and innuendo submitted by anonymous sources in so many directions it will take years to follow the bread crumbs. He caused the convening of a special counsel to chase a line of negative allegations and innuendo proving he, too, is among the subversives as shown by his actions. Our government is dismantling from within.

By challenging every move the president makes, the Resist coup makes government even less efficient than government. (Yes, that is what I meant to say.) Distracting attention from the affairs of the nation is the goal of the left. How many times lately have you heard the leftist blurt, “He hasn’t achieved his stated goals.”

The idiot minions are seeking recognition for hitting milestones in accomplishing their objective. These are the same people that learned in school that there is no need for valedictorians because endorsing accomplishment demeans those who choose to laze and graze rather than achieve.

I don’t know any more than the average news consumer about the Trump-Russian intervention/collusion/collaboration issue. It may well all be true. It may also be true in part or completely made up. A definite concern, however, is the media drilling us each day and night with innuendo and unverifiable and unsubstantiated speculation.  It is not good for you, me or any American. Alinsky training makes them want to control thoughts and influence minds.  They know that repetition fosters a false pretense of credibility.

Personally, I would like to return to the country I served in uniform, where change is welcome and not to be denied.   Howbeit, total rescission of America’s foundation is inherently wrong.

DEMOCRATS NEED TO FIND A MESSAGE

July 7, 2017

I love it! I listen to Democrat party leaders, spokespersons and pundits commenting on their own organization. I read newspaper articles and blog postings from all avenues of the political spectrum. Honestly, I spend much of my leisure time with FOX, but often take in the challenging viewpoints of CNN, MSNBC and the three old and tired broadcast stations. Occasionally, I listen to talk radio. It matters naught what is on or who is speaking, the theme continues to be that the Democrat party needs to find a message the American public cares about. Republican and Democrat pundits reiterate the same thing, “the Democrats need a message”.

Wow! That tells me everything I need to know about the party whose members describe it as “the oldest voter-based political party in the world”. They’re lost. They have nothing too offer; they need a message. They have no cohesive direction or thoughts regarding what is right for you or the country. They have no convictions to share before any election. They don’t even care, they just need to find a message, then they might work on the rest.  Perhaps they’ll just promote the new message without regard for carrying it out.

Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Shouldn’t a political party or politician start with a reason for being, then work on achieving that objective? Wouldn’t it be nice to find a person or party that has defined a goal for the nation that they can proudly announce and run on? And then, of course, follow through to accomplish the stated goal.

Politicians today, on both sides of the aisle, are so consumed with winning elections; so oriented on planting their butt into a seat of power that they must manufacture a cause. It doesn’t matter how ridiculous or meaningless it is, as long as it resonates with their constituents. Identify a heartwarming cause. Coin a slogan. Promise the minions anything but get into that prestigious and enviable position.  Then you can relax, forget the promises and chug along with the daily flow. Spend ¾ of your time campaigning for the next election to maintain your new job. Stop by the chamber and cast a vote or two occasionally (you need not spend any time reading bills, just ask the veterans within your party how they think you should vote). Then go out and raise some more money for the DNC and yourself.

You can bet that as soon as the Democrats find a message they will use it to raise funds to get someone elected. Once defined, the media will carry that message on every front page as a headline and every cable and broadcast program until it becomes believable. Those public indoctrinated educated idiots won’t understand that they are entrapping themselves into subservience to the elite as they lap up the free kool-aid.

Watch out! They will find that repeatable jingle or phrase. Once they do, it is all you will hear until the next round of votes are in. It will obsolete “Make America Great Again”. When you hear it enough, fake news is the truth. No matter what the audible surface words are, you can bet the subliminal message is “Put Democrats in Power. Despotism and Socialism is what you really want”.

Your income will drop.  Your taxes will rise.  Your rights will be legislated away.  The national debt will grow.  Then, the only difference between the U.S. and Venezuela will be the primary language.

IS DONALD J. TRUMP THE WRONG OR RIGHT PRESIDENT TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY?

July 5, 2017

The knowledge and intelligence of the voting public has been so degraded over the past two to three decades that choosing a president is no longer a matter of national pride, personal integrity or doing what is best for the country. Voting has become a popularity contest. Idiots at the polls now vote for the candidate deemed by the media and pundits as “most likely to win”. That way they can feel good about themselves after the election.

Our last president won the idiot choice award twice. Once winning because of his ancestral heritage, oratory and charisma and a second time on his oratory and charisma alone. He did little to benefit the economy, blacks and other minorities, business, workers or bolster the standing of the U.S. among other nations of the world. In fact, he did just the opposite. He damaged the U.S. with his actions in attempt to swiftly turn the country into a Marxist regime. Even many of those who voted for the free party favors offered by President Obama capably recognized that his perceived successor was not the right person for the soon to be vacated office.

The other choice was a non politician; someone who many thought might stand a chance of correcting the deviant course the nation was put upon during the previous eight years. The choice was either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Clearly, Hillary would continue down the path toward socialism. That left the successful celebrity and billionaire business magnate, Donald Trump.

It was clear and well known for years before the announcement of his candidacy that Mr. Trump is a strong but crude business specialist and not a politician. Those factors drew tens of thousands to the rallies in which he championed the exact opposite of what the nation had experienced with the outgoing administration. Trump said he would fill his cabinet with the best, most qualified and successful members who were willing to take on the matters of the nation with aplomb, not apology.

Unlike the cautious, politically correct and eloquent Barack Obama, Donald Trump is rash, brash, direct and unapologetic in his words and actions. He decisively says what is on his mind without forethought of political consequence. He wants to correct the ills of the nation rapidly. He holds meetings and listens to his counselors’ and advisers’ input but does not dwell on the small differences of opinion and expertise that stall implementation. Eg. He would not wait 16 hours (time to allow escape) before authorizing a raid on America’s #1 enemy.

In his first six months:

President Trump has removed the bindings from our combat troops that were put in place by the military shaming Obama. He does not micro-manage the military. He leaves battlefield decisions to the well trained officers in command of the fighters. The rules of engagement have returned to reasonable. Our troops are once again allowed to defend themselves and they can take an offensive posture against those who wish to kill them. Our fighting men and women are no longer two legged targets. He, President Trump, is regaining the respect for and from our military, allies and our enemies on behalf of America.

The stock market is at an all time high. Retirement funds/401Ks are building assets for workers. Employment is regaining ground as business improves. Not only is the fictitious unemployment rate dramatically lower than any time during the business wrecking Obama years <link> , the true labor participation rate  <link> is commendably higher. Consumer confidence is up. Though auto and large luxury items remain slow, home sales are not.

The housing market is rebounding with resale homes on the market for an average of 45 days over 2011’s average of 84 days. Prices are appreciating as well with a national average increase of almost 8.5% between May 2016 and May 2017. Between the November elections and present, that appreciation is actually 9.2% <link>.

Illegal immigration is down by a whopping 65%-67% according to government statistics. Illegal alien criminals are self deporting along with those under ICE deportation orders. Many who would otherwise attempt breaking into the nation are rethinking the consequences. Paying a coyote thousands of dollars only to be ejected within weeks or months of entry, if they even succeed at getting in, is considered the primary reason.

We now have a balanced Supreme Court. The majority of the seated justices believe in and adhere to the U.S. Constitution. One more constructionist will restore the order of law our founding fathers imagined.

As president, Donald Trump has managed to accomplish this and more despite the “resistance” from congress and the socialist/fascist lemmings that still follow the defeated America hating leaders of the Democrat party, past and present. He is still ahead of the establishment swamp creatures evading changes to business as usual in Washington, D.C.

If he would only forego the acidic, rapid fire tweets that allow the ammunition they pursue, he could possibly win their minds as he presents them and the entire country with benefits beyond what they believe they seek. Left to their present obvious choice, we would have the economic and political woes of Venezuela.

Even perfection would probably be poorly received. However, it is not becoming for the man in charge to personally defend himself against every attacker or perceived attacker through vicious social media retorts on a daily basis. Many of the verbal pugilists would fall to the wayside without such goading and prompting.

However, the general public refuses to accept that Donald Trump is holding two positions right now. First and foremost he is a successful businessman. As such he has had to intermingle in politics for years, yet he is no politician. He is a doer; he acts and reacts without hesitation. He is not one to dwell on or over-think situations. He sought and was awarded the presidency. He did so to make the changes necessary to restore America to its former standing. He is learning politics and the mire created by bureaucracy. It must be frustrating to him.

Second, he is the President of the United States. He is in transition. In business, he listens to and sorts advice from his management team. He then acts in the most appropriate way for the betterment of his business and his employees. As he attempts to meld common sense business practices with politics he is encountering potholes and speed bumps. Not everyone in Congress has the same goals in mind and some are unforgiving. They not only balk at ideas not aligned with their thinking, they stall and obstruct and restrain any progress because it is the way of government.

Donald Trump is a social liberal, a fiscal conservative and a national patriot. He believes strongly in the rule of law and expects compliance. His strength is in his patriotism. This is a combination that Washington, D.C. and the nation has not seen, at least not for many years. It is one that confuses the establishment and infuriates the left who cannot accept anything other than someone who kow-tows to their own “all inclusive” liberal, progressive, socialist ideology.

Though some cannot separate the individual from the office, they would be far better off if they could. President Trump is truly doing some wonderful things for the country. Mr. Trump is an unabashed Twitiot who will lash out when demeaned. He said early on that when he is hit he hits back harder. The media hates him for this. Once again, he is only doing what he promised. Presidential? Eh, not so much.

To sum it up, I said in 2007 that it was time for a black president, but Barack Obama was not the right black man. He proved that I was correct.

I believed then as I do now that the country needs a leader with strong ties to, and understanding of, business. He’s been in office only six months. Business gurus agree that it takes an average of 13 months for a person to comfortable fit into a new position. Does he deserve more time to prove he’s the leader this country needs? I think so, but I’m open to changing that opinion.
