SHOW ME YOUR PAPERS

March 30, 2021

Some venues, and surely soon to be all, are requiring a “vaccine passport” called the Excelsior Pass which utilizes an app to scan a QR code verifying you have been vaccinated against COVID-19. This is just one of many steps to identify you, where you are, where you have been and how long you stay in any one place.

While there are many people who couldn’t care less about having their every move tracked, some of us object. We are being followed via GPS in our cars and cell phones now. We are identified by the stations and programs we watch on TV, our emails and text messages and social media posts. Virtually every move we make, every sound we utter, every credit card transaction we conduct and every location we visit is captured and stored in a Top Secret facility in Bluffdale, Utah known by the code name Bumblehive.

It has been reported that even the grounds keepers and custodial crew members at Bumblehive must have facility security clearances (FCL) commensurate with the highest level of classified access (Secret or Top Secret). Grounds keepers, etc. must only pass a background check equivalent to a Secret clearance in the event they happen across some of the classified information.

Of course, the government claims that the stored information is only to help identify terrorists or others who pose a threat to national security. This was proven by the number of people who happened to be in Washington D.C. prior to or on January 6, 2021. Many people who checked into hotels or made credit card purchases in the city or surrounding areas were contacted and questioned by the FBI simply because of that tracking. Some of those who were tracked lost their jobs and became known as suspicious persons just for their presence at, or near, the rally.

It became quite an experience for a sales person who made calls on businesses in the area at that time. He was contacted at home, two weeks later, by two men and a woman wearing suits, badges and carrying guns demanding the “subject” answer questions regarding his trip. A totally innocent sales contact turned into a frightening experience and labeled the individual a “potential domestic terrorist” simply because there was a political rally with an offshoot of mayhem and vandalism happening miles away during the time of his sales calls.

I understand the need to identify and track persons who have made or present a threat to our national security, I really do. However, I don’t see the need for my government to keep on file a purchase of Skoal Bandits my cousin or my neighbor made using a credit card. Yet they do.

Now, under the unassuming guise of health, we are expected to carry with us another tracking identifier. This is also questioned by some people, generally labeled conspiracy theorists, that the vaccine itself carries identifiers known as traceable radioisotopes.

Many people have valid concerns about China and their social credit system. The system allows some people to ride public transportation, leave and enter the country and even rent or own housing. Others, with lower scores are severely limited to what they can do, what they may purchase and where they can go and how they can get there. The Excelsior Pass looks to me to be of the same genre, just of a bit more veiled name to keep some people from being aware of the true reason for carrying one.

What about the people who have had, and recovered from, the virus thus have immunity and no need for the vaccine or choose not to have the injection? Will they be able to use public transportation, enter government buildings or continue to eat at their favorite restaurant without “showing their papers”?

WE DON’T NEED NO STINKING WARRANTS

June 16, 2013

For those of you with your heads still stuck in the sand, perhaps this will resonate through the silica and reach your brain.  The nation is under tyrannical rule.  We have lost all of our rights.  We have lost all the restrictions on government guaranteed by the Constitution and we are now subjects of a radical ruler.

The good thing is that Obama did, in fact, tell the truth when he stated he would “fundamentally change America”.  He said he would, and he has.  That was probably the last truth spoken to the American people in an open forum, but he did say it.

Since the revelation earlier this month about the insecurity of our national security information, I have been ambivalent toward Edward Snowden.  Giving away true national security information is a Bozo No-No that should carry the most severe consequences.  However, informing the public about unauthorized and even unconstitutional action on the part of a tyranny trending administration is something that America needs to know.  That’s been my dilemma.

The MSM, of course, carries only the government version of the story.  It started much like the IRS potboiler with deny, deny, deny, demean, besmirch, belittle and destroy the credibility of a low-level contractor who simply wanted to strike out.

As more information trickles out, however, my thoughts are trending toward it was the right thing to do but the wrong way to go about it.  I don’t, and can’t, agree with Snowden’s running to China with the information.  However, with thought given to the situation, it would be difficult to find few places on this planet to be safe and be able to unburden his mind of things he obviously saw as wrong.  He couldn’t go to his superiors.  Questioning his function would surely get him fired and he would then have no credibility.  He couldn’t even go to the President with this information because he didn’t know the level the unethical and possibly illegal spy orders originated.

He couldn’t go home and write about this bother in a blog.  If some analyst with the NSA read the posting, surely arrest, silencing, ridicule and possibly a trip to Guantanamo Bay before anyone recognized his absence might await him.  He wouldn’t be the first to vanish on a two block walk home from Starbucks.  You don’t have to be a terrorist to disappear anymore.  Doing or saying anything against the workings of the government or not agreeing enthusiastically or even compliantly with the current administration now causes the average patriotic citizen years of harassment.

CNet News offered the following headline and story.

NSA admits listening to U.S. phone calls without warrants

It seems Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) shared information of a secret briefing that if the NSA wants to listen to the contents of a phone call, an analyst could decide that.  An analyst’s decision is sufficient.

If only someone could have foreseen this.  Oh, that’s right; George Orwell did some 65 years ago.

ONE WRONG DIGIT

June 10, 2013

According to one story by Michael Isikoff, National Investigative Correspondent for NBC News, the NSA occasionally makes an oopsie.  No intent involved and no American should be alarmed because they may have been inadvertently put under 24/7 surveillance or added to a no fly list.  No problem, it was only a mistake.  You can trust them.  Just because they are under the same presidential thumb as the IRS, EPA and DOJ should have no bearing on your confidence.  There is no political involvement, honest.

It’s as easy to correct as an errant entry on your credit report, or proving to the IRS you didn’t work that extra job and neglect to report the income.  The IRS will readily accept your claim for Earned Income Credit against that income for having seven kids, ‘cause they’re so forgiving.

The National Security Agency has at times mistakenly intercepted the private email messages and phone calls of Americans who had no link to terrorism, requiring Justice Department officials to report the errors to a secret national security court and destroy the data, according to two former U.S. intelligence officials.

Ret. Adm. Dennis Blair, who served as President Obama’s DNI in 2009 and 2010, told NBC News that, in one instance in 2009, analysts entered a phone number into agency computers and “put one digit wrong”, and mined a large volume of information about Americans with no connection to terror.

Over the past two years, in at least two postings on this site, I have written about the NSA data storage facility in Bluffdale, Utah.  Below is a link to the most recent entry.  Have some fun and follow the embedded links for an “E” ticket ride.

I believe 60 Minutes even did a piece on the spy compound in Bluffdale earlier this year.  It’s not news that the NSA is, and has been, spying on U.S. citizens.  Yes, I do believe some of it is for protection against terrorists.  Then again, why are we sending military planes and tanks and $1.3 billion in annual aid to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt?  Contradiction time!

Remember the phone call to your friend, Sarah, in London yesterday when you got a male voice with a thick middle-Eastern accent?  Recognizing it must be a wrong number, you hung up right away.  Well your call was made, just by coincidence, shortly before Mohammad called his brother, Abdul Ali, in Libya to chat.  Within the hour, a bomb placed in a Tripoli shopping mall exploded killing 18 people and injuring over 40.  Abdul Ali is a member of Al Queda.

You may have simply misdialed Sarah’s number by a digit, but you are now connected to a terrorist.  Oops, sorry!  Enjoy the TSA pat down next time you fly.

DHS AND GUN RIGHTS

April 7, 2012

DHS recently contracted the purchase of another 450 million rounds of JHP ammunition. At the same time a former Obama secretary, Van Jones, touts an uprising titled “American Spring” or “Rebuild the Dream rally” or “an Egypt-styled ‘Arab Spring,'” designed to rally the 99 percent.  We have seen the devastation and wanton murder of people throughout the Middle East brought about by the Arab Spring and it looks like it could be coming to a community near you, soon.

Van Jones, is a civil rights activist and advocate of violence to achieve a goal.  Like our current President and many we find in his administration, Jones is more than willing to use our rights, privileges and freedoms against us to overthrow the traditional Democratic Republic that has served us well for over 200 of the past 236 years.

Defense contractor ATK announced the award of an “Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement for .40 caliber hollow point ammunition” by the DHS.

By contract, ATK will provide Homeland Security with 450 million rounds of ammunition over a five year period.  DHS also purchased 200 million rounds in 2009.  There is currently an open bid for up to 175 million rounds of .233 caliber ammo.

JHP (jacketed hollow point) ammunition is not designed for target practice or enhancing the skills of federal agents.  The design of this projectile is for one purpose only – to cause massive trauma and damage to animal tissue.  The purpose for this projectile is to fully disable through maiming or death any living organism into which it is projected.

A 40 caliber bullet is .400 in. in diameter, or just under ½ inch.  When it strikes an object, the hollow point causes it to expand to approximately twice its original diameter.  Expect the missile, flying at 500’/sec., to increase to ¾ inch by the time it has passed halfway through your torso and before it is stopped by a bone or an organ.  The intent is lethal.  This is not crowd control.  These are not bean bags.  This is not a water cannon.  These are not smoke or tear gas grenades.  This is not part of the military or defense contract.  This is intended death of civilians by a rapacious government.

“We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set.  We’ve got to have a Civilian National Security Force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded as our military”.  Barack Obama – July 2, 2008.

At the same time as the latest government procurement, FEMA emergency camps are being outfitted to warehouse hundreds of thousands of civilians “in time of need”, $1.5 billion tax dollars are being spent to collect and store personal data in Utah and the Attorney General is acting in concert with the U.N. and NATO, outside the parameters of the Constitution and against the Second Amendment to confiscate all defensive weapons from We the People.

Doesn’t it just make you want to elect Barack Obama for four more years?  Perhaps given that time, he could become a permanent fixture in Washington D.C., a Castro, a Chavez or a Stalin.  With almost half of the American people already reliant on some form of government stipend or subsidy, who will be left in four years to counter the movement once we are all gelded, dependent and defenseless?
