PSYCHOPATH-IN-CHARGE

January 31, 2014

Psychopaths are not the ones who take an automatic weapon into a shopping mall or grade school to kill hoards of people. Some of these killers are psychopathic but most psychopaths are devious and enjoy harming others in different, often indirect, ways. Purposefully creating catastrophic situations for which only they have a solution might be a display of this aberration. Sometimes the intentionally created casualty goes unrecognized for some time.

Psychopaths lack empathy and white collar psychopaths are especially hard to identify because, while not particularly empathetic, they do not display the attributes we associate with crazy people. They just don’t seem to care, but they do not necessarily display craziness.

Some of the symptoms of psychopathy are pathological lying, arrogance, narcissism, irresponsible behavior, lack of remorse or guilt, a sense of entitlement, dominance and desire to control others, superficial in words and actions, extreme egocentricity and failure to learn from experience. Psychopaths may also show amoral or antisocial behavior when away from social settings.

When I learned this I shuddered with the recognition that this is the ultimate description of our president.

SOTU V 2014

January 29, 2014

Beyond the idle promises that he has no thought of keeping and beyond the threat of his pen to end-run congress, the President had little new to say in the well scripted 62 minutes.

There were the usual contradictions such as the need for abundant natural gas for heating, power and other energy needs.  Immediately following this unbelievably circuitous brook-babble he mumbled about how the Feds have confiscated, and prepare to take more land away from states and private companies that might access the natural resources contained therein.

He asked employers for their advice on how to create employment. He suggested that they bring some of the jobs and dollars now used in foreign countries back to the U.S. to face the burdensome complex, costly and ridiculous regulations they don’t have to contend with now.

He also asked employers to do what they can to increase wages so that hard working families, sometimes working two and three jobs, don’t have to live in poverty. He failed to mention that many of those jobs are part-time due to the 30 hour limit imposed on employers to avoid the costs of Obamacare.

He spoke, once again, about immigration reform, though neglected to address how adding millions of mostly uneducated workers from Central America and South America to the unemployment and Welfare rolls will benefit the country. He didn’t say a word about how flooding the market with low-end laborers will encourage agricultural and production employers to raise wages.

He said nothing about how the devastating toll known as Obamacare has shuttered many doors. Silence also covered the flexible but ever gaining taxation of small businesses that stifles growth and expansion. He neglected to elaborate on how he or his administration might reduce the onerous Obamacare, taxes and regulations his administration has imposed on businesses that keep them from expanding or sharing their diminished profit with workers.

Of all, however, I most liked the way he ended the speech. The end of any Obama speech is always the best. The turn away from the Teleprompters is most welcomed.

As he usually does, Obama showcased an example of greatness in attempt to define his own troubled world. He acknowledged the heroics, valor and spirit of Sergeant First Class Cory Remsburg who was incapacitated by a roadside bomb. Sgt. Remsburg spent months in a coma, lost the sight of one eye and much of the use of his left side. Obama honored Cory’s resolve to never give up the fight, for America or for life.

Conspicuously missing from the finale was that in 2009, on behalf of Obamacare, Barry’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) suggested, saving taxpayers $540 million by billing veterans’ private insurance companies for treatment of conditions connected to their military service, including war injuries. The Department of Veterans Affairs currently bills these insurance companies for treatment of non-service-related conditions.

Where would our injured service men and women be today, when their insurance companies cancelled their policies and they could not get signed up for Obamacare?

Think about that for a moment!

VALERIE JARRETT

January 21, 2014

Hiding in the wings of this administration is more than a radical Muslim contingent and more than 1960s radicals of American heritage. Those two factions alone constitute more “enemy working together” than can be seen in the current or past two congresses. But just who is the coordinator of the agenda? Who is the puppeteer behind the marionette we see standing tall before the podium and Teleprompters? Just who is the man behind the man? Perhaps it is a woman.

References that the “White House was informed” continue yet the President maintains that he learned of – insert today’s scandal here – from the morning paper, or from a news broadcast, or some right wing talk show, just like you. So, just how is the White House informed and who is the information receptor? The name Valerie Jarrett comes up as not just a, but the key influential individual with direct Oval office contact.

Jarrett is the lasting player of the administration. Long gone are the friends and other close advisors to the President. Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod didn’t last long. It is speculated that they both questioned and disagreed with Jarrett’s influence. One has to question if even Obama had an optional input regarding their dismissal. If there is a puppet master, the handler of the long and short strings must be very close to the marionette. In policy decisions, Valerie Jarrett seems to be in command.

As I’ve commented many times before, when Obama reads to an audience from the Teleprompter, his face often reveals that even he is questioning the words emitting from his lips. He looks as if he cannot believe anybody is foolish enough to believe the oratory. Sometimes a pause gives rise to the notion that he wonders how to speak the written words in front of him with a straight face. Positive reaction from the audience encourages yet amazes even him.

We may now know how it is that Obama has time for golf during every crisis. It is his pause time while the speech writer and true policy maker prepares how best to express authority and deflect responsibility. The greater the crisis, the less time Valerie has while the President shoots another eighteen. Perhaps that’s why it takes him so long on the course, any course. Maybe the plan is to get him out of the way, so that he won’t interfere with important decisions.

Perhaps this is why Obama becomes so vicious and vindictive when he doesn’t get “his” way. He is the just front man, the egg and tomato catcher, while someone else is running the country. It has got to be tough for someone with such thin skin. It’s just not fair that some people want to hold him accountable for his policies when the inner circle derides and overwrites his input before scripting the Teleprompters.

Jarrett and her handlers probably refer to Obama as the useful tool of the administration, though he undoubtedly agrees with the ultimate goal of destroying the country. A tool, by itself, is incapable of making anything happen. It must be manipulated by some one who knows how to read and implement the blueprint to be effective.

As good-looking as he is, as great an orator as he is, Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the play. His part in governing might be favorably compared to that of an award winning actor who had no input regarding the writing of the script or the directing or production of a movie in which he participates. Yet, the ignorant urban folk continue flocking to the theater believing he wants to give them what they want – free popcorn. They, then, accept his excuses for the theater being out of popcorn.

Meanwhile he and his troupe continue to expand the design of America’s demise, keeping the easily beguiled uninformed and swooning. Yes, Valerie continues to remain high above the stage, out of sight behind the curtains on the catwalk. Not seen, but being in control allows her the opportunity to oversee all without getting stage dust on her hands. Even if he wanted to, he cannot exist without her. Even Michelle cannot disencumber her from Barry’s life. Valerie Jarrett is the one we should fear.

BIG BROTHER AND YOUR HEALTH

January 7, 2014

Big Brother is still picking and choosing how you live your life, what you eat (and how much you eat), what you can do to protect yourself, who gets breaks and who must follow the laws.

The FDA was first formed in 1848 to analyze agricultural products, pills and elixirs. The original and noble goal was protecting consumers from misbranded foods and drugs by informing the public about the content, value, consistency, reliability and safety of foods and injectable medicinal products. As with all government agencies, the FDA grew in size, scope and authority. They now receive much of their funding from, and are thus indebted to, mega agricultural and chemical corporations.

Regulations, often written by lobbyists for these benefactors, identify how processed and synthesized products are labeled and marketed.
While beholden to the lobbyists, the FDA is now another taxation arm of the federal government with significantly diminished concern for the public. For instance, the FDA no longer tests and analyzes synthetic pharmaceuticals before permitting world-wide distribution. Instead, they rely on the manufacturer’s reported test results for qualification.

Many of the findings presented to and accepted by the FDA show mainly positive results, cleansed of negative outcomes. To some companies a mortality rate as high as 6% is acceptable. However, the scrubbed results offered to the FDA often show less than 1%. Lawsuits against the companies are settled and sealed after secretive negotiations.

On the other hand, the FDA refutes the value of organically grown natural products. The agency dismisses company and independent testing when reviewing natural or homeopathic health supplements and remedies. Instead, they accept assertions from pharmaceutical manufacturers regarding the beneficial properties of the competitive products. Natural products, while not always of promoted benefit offer no ill effects. Natural foods cannot be patented and combinations may vary slightly yet produce effectively similar results. Thus, there is little money in natural health products for the government.

GMO foods on the other hand, require no identification thanks to Monsanto and Dow AgroSciences. Long-term testing of their harm to human longevity and health remains unknown at best and undisclosed at least. What is known, but unpublicized, is the main ingredient in GMOs that renders them resistant to 2,4-D. 2,4-D is the active ingredient in the chemical defoliant known as Agent Orange.

Agent Orange is the herbicide used in Viet Nam to kill underbrush, weeds and trees that might conceal enemy combatants. It also caused numerous and various cancers in American troops and local inhabitants who encountered areas defoliated by the chemical.

Fields of GMO corn, soybeans, etc. may now be chemically weeded with 2,4-D. Eating those crops transmits the defoliant into the blood stream and nervous system. Farmers and the FDA allow animals raised for their meat to feed on GMO crops. Consumption of that meat, in raw or processed form, also transmits 2,4-D to humans. You can expect “unexplained environmental causes” to receive note for your family as key factors in your shortened life span thanks to our protective government.
