HATING TED CRUZ

July 25, 2016

Ted Cruz is not the love of the Republican party. He is certainly despised by Democrats.  Ted is not politically correct.  He follows his heart.  This doesn’t make him a Washington outsider though. He is firmly ensconced in his party and his beliefs. He made that clear at the Republican convention this past week.

Everybody’s still talking about the non-endorsement of Donald Trump. Though Ted’s name has come up in every news article, talking head program on every radio station and every TV channel from MSNBC to FOX since last Wednesday evening, few review the speech he gave. Most pundits are taken aback by the fact that he showed up and gave a speech at the convention without formally blessing the Republican nominee. There are few good words for Ted right now.

He held true to his convictions. What more can you ask from a conservative? His wife was maligned by the Trump campaign without cause. Would you endorse the head of such an organization if your spouse was maliciously impugned?

Watch and listen, once again, to the speech as it was captured by CNN. http://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2016/07/20/rnc-convention-ted-cruz-entire-speech-sot.cnn

It was impassioned. It related conservative values…states’ rights, human rights, citizen’s rights. It covered it all. He mentioned a wall to keep Americans safe. The speech identified the need for reasoned trade policies that put America’s interests first. He defined the differences between the major parties. He promoted our military and law enforcement officers.  It was a good speech!

He incorporated many of the ideas Trump has touted. He said, “vote your conscience”. I.e. If you believe Trump is the man, by all means vote for him. He was principled. He held to his beliefs. He simply did not ravingly endorse Donald Trump. Don’t condemn the man for being true to himself, God and the American people.

Though he is not my first choice for president at this time, he expressed all the values in which I believe and that are needed to overcome the damage done to my country in the last 7+ years. Hillary certainly won’t help. Perhaps Trump can.

PERMISSION GRANTED

July 18, 2016

Thanks in large part to our Community Organizer in Chief, ambushing police and riots are now commonplace. Violence abounds. There is unrest in every pocket and every major city across the nation and it is seemingly being promoted by our current administration and endorsed by his justice department.

Each time there is an incident in which innocents are killed, President Obummer addresses the nation and two things happen. First, there is an insincere placating to the families involved. Second, and almost within the same sentence, comes a statement about how Muslims or blacks (depending on the specific situation) have been oppressed since the beginning of time and therefore righteously rebelling against white men and police is justified and acceptable. He is effectively granting permission for violence and killing.

There are other forces contributing as well. If it isn’t directly political as in Hillary escaping an FBI criminal investigation where Director Comey publicly justified indictment yet set her free without such recommendation or Donald Trump hurling true but volatile remarks, it’s Black Lives Matter projecting animus toward law enforcement or the New Black Panther Party (one of the president’s favorites along with The Muslim Brotherhood) calling for the killing of all whites and cops. As soon as that settles, our president finds the words to enflame another situation.

This happened in Dallas recently because of two incidents involving police officers and black men. I have reviewed the publicly available videos of the shootings in both Baton Rouge. LA and St. Paul, MN. According to the footage made public, both might be considered questionable shootings. But that assessment is made on limited information.  I was not there for either and felt no fear for my own life.  We’ll know more as time develops the stories.

As of this writing, the police death toll in Dallas is five with seven other officers wounded. The gunman wearing an armored vest. An ambush in Baton Rouge has left three police officers dead and several wounded.

Police patrol and do their job enforcing laws with trepidation now because approaching any suspect can mean their death or maiming. Simply being on the street has seen 8+ of America’s brave lose their lives in the past two weeks. Thus, they act quickly and with angst. The reasonable concern for their own lives causes rapid aggression and reaction without forethought. The recent spate of ambushes can only cause quicker to reaction to a sudden movement or refusal to comply with their commands.

Radicals are taking over in anarchy, without forethought but with direction and guidance, subtle or outright, from the leaders of national organizations local authorities and our president and his justice department.

At least one report says that Democrat Cleveland Mayor, Frank G. Jackson, has issued a “Stand Down” order to his police force during the Republican convention. Essentially, he has given protesters permission to riot in the streets. It worked so well in Baltimore!

And, like Baltimore, this usually results in looting and burning local businesses. Tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary destruction is likely to occur in Cleveland. The anarchy is escalating and currently looks like it will not stop soon. The disregard for law and order generally associated with third world and socialist and monarchal governed (redundancy acknowledged) countries is here.

BOILING FROGS

July 13, 2016

I’m sure that even the ignorant, selfish, complacent, under-educated millenials have heard the story of how to boil a frog. But for those still not aware, here’s how it goes.

If you put a frog in boiling water, it will jump out. However, if you place a frog in room temperature water it will swim around happily. Turn up the heat slowly and the frog will not notice the difference. It will unwittingly accept new or changing environment until it is cooked to death in the boiling water.

This is what has happened over the past seven and a half years.

In 2007, I said that it was “time for a black man to be president, just not this black man” (meaning Obama). He scared me when he said he was going to “fundamentally transform America”. I didn’t believe then and I don’t believe now that America needed any fundamental change. Perhaps some adjusting or massaging in some areas, but not total and complete change.

The words of his wife bothered me even more. Her words: “We are going to have to change our conversation; we’re going to have to change our traditions, our history; we’re going to have to move into a different place as a nation.” — Michelle Obama, May 14, 2008

Those words, from them both, lit the flame under the nation’s frogs – us.

With each speech he gives regarding the nation, he slyly embeds some subliminal wording to inflame the most aggressive and radical activists. It’s part of his training and education as a community organizer. He does it well.

At first, he subtly pushed for more restraint on law enforcement. Then he, using his calculated oratory, fostered the notion that “standing up” to the unequal application of the law between whites and blacks would gain them respect. From there he has reiterated the perceived disparity again and again until some believe it necessary to engage every officer at every opportunity. When they do defy the authority, whether they’re right or wrong, it sets the stage not for dialog but adversarial aggravation.

Each time the President brings to the forefront old standards or history long past such as slavery and Jim Crow laws, it arouses an ire within the decendents of the oppressed. That resurfaced anger, though the issues were dealt with and corrected decades ago, again becomes an issue for immediate reconciliation and foments unnecessary disquiet.

As the pot continues to heat, we are now at the point where, to blacks, it is acceptable to fight the local authorities constantly. Often now, they are initiating unnecessary situations that can only turn out badly. Calling for the killing of police is sure to cause angst.

Sorry, gotta go now, Obama’s bringing in a new pot.

WE DON’T NEED NO STINKIN’ WALL

July 12, 2016

Donald Trump is adamant about having a wall on our southern border. He said he would make Mexico pay for it. Of course, Mexico’s leaders both past and present are calling him out for the statement and saying that there is no way Mexico is going to pay for a wall.

Trump’s declaration, like so many of his others, are inciting but not necessarily feasible. There are better and less costly ways of shutting down the influx of immigrants from around the globe who choose unpermitted entry into our country primarily through a porous and virtually unmanned border. It is quite well known globally that the easiest line of illegal access is our southern border. Thus, Trump’s concentration on a wall high enough and deep enough to discourage intrusion.

One way to accomplish the task without an unsightly barrier is law enforcement. Stated another way, if the federal government would enforce the laws passed by congress and signed into law by past presidents, there would be little problem.

President Bush allowed restrained enforcement of our existing border enforcement laws. President Obama has virtually scrapped them. He has actually instructed the troops not to enforce the laws.  He has passed the word that there will be disciplinary action for not carrying out his unlawful demands to allow those entering the country safe passage once they have answered a few questions. In some cases, agents are instructed to transport them to federal transitional housing.

It has also been reported that under the current administration, many of the illegal border crossers are then being transported to various locations of their choosing within the country. More than one article states that U.S. taxpayers are providing air transportation all the way from South and Central America into the United States. All under the false front of refugee assistance. Taxpayers are now importing unvetted danger.

Simply reversing these unlawful policies would go a long way toward making our country safer and lessen the burden on the taxpayers and government. Allowing those hired and trained to track down, detain and deport foreign lawbreakers the opportunity to do their jobs would also accomplish what a much more expensive and ungainly wall might achieve.

We have the laws in place to protect our country and the citizens within. Those laws are being overridden and effectively overwritten in a despotic attempt to fundamentally change our country. The tyrannical methods used to transform this country are exactly the ones used in the South American countries from which many of the people flee. The changing of this country is one doomed to fail…or succeed depending on the preordained goals.

If allowed to continue, this pattern of executive mandates outweighing congressionally passed laws can only lead to a full Marxist/socialist or even communist government. There is not, and has not been, a Marxist, socialist or communist government that does not impoverish, enslave and abuse the citizens before total economic collapse and/or violent revolution. We are already seeing escalating unrest and violent protest throughout the nation. The next step is now a short one.

THE MONTAGE – VOLUME III

July 9, 2016

This is the third  of a series of abbreviated or unfinished rants.  To read the first two, please visit  https://bizarroworldusa.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/the-montage-volume-ii/   and https://bizarroworldusa.wordpress.com/2016/07/03/the-montage/

THE MOST TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION

Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Over the past 7 years, there have been more federal inquiries into corruption, illegal activities, unconstitutional mandates and over-extension of presidential authority than ever before in history. It is an ongoing and growing problem for decades and is now overwhelming.

One of Obama’s signature promises was that he’d have “the most transparent administration” in U.S. History. His has proven to be the least` transparent administration. Each respondent to a congressional or criminal investigation has either voiced their Fifth Amendment rights, claimed ignorance of the situation under their jurisdiction, claimed inability to recall information or simply was never made aware of the situation under investigation.

Documentation requested under FOIA is either so heavily redacted that no benefit is received by their release or the full release is delayed until the investigative commission is disbanded.

Understanding that invoking the Fifth Amendment is a declaration of possible criminal activity, shouldn’t the investigating committee or agency make the declarant a target of involvement in that activity and investigate him or her extensively? The witness can’t be forced to answer any questions in such a way that might incriminate himself or herself. But what is wrong with including them, not as witnesses, but as targets from that point forward?

NATIONAL SECURITY THREAT

According to President Obama’s national security advisor, Susan Rice, there are too many white people in key government positions. This endangers the national security because they all look alike.

Perhaps a few more Muslim Brotherhood members or illegal aliens would satisfy Ms. Rice’s need for more and greater security through diversity. Personally, I believe fewer sycophants of all colors, religions and ethnicities might be the answer. More people dedicated to the nation instead of global socialism and absolute power would definitely be an improvement over what we now have.

CONDITIONING
The recent event at Andrews Air Base was one of conditioning. This is the kind of thing we can expect to continue to happen. Seeing the U.S. Military active in law enforcement situations on United States soil is necessary before declaring martial law.

The activity was broadcast by every major news station. People alerted one another and all tuned in to see how a military base could have been infiltrated and how the incident would be handled. As it turns out, it was just a drill; an active shooter drill about which seemingly few people were made aware.

We are at the end of the holy month of Ramadan in which ISIS has pledged to carry out as many terrorist activities throughout the world as possible. They have carried out their pledge, but this event was meant to acclimatize the American public.

The “active shooter” event might be a public display of the Jade Helm exercise. The military taking groups, areas or towns under command through intimidation and authoritarian assertiveness is what we can now expect from this and future administrations.

Desensitizing the masses through repetition is a controlling measure necessary for any autocracy to assume absolute power.
